So Cole Hocker (Gold in 1500 at olympics) ran vs Grant Fisher (Bronze in 5K and 10K at olympics) in the 3000M yesterday.
Grant Fisher has been running some shorter races lately to improve his kick a the end of those long ones where he got bronze. I saw him run a 1500M the other day and do well.
If you remember the 1500M in the olympics, Cole Hocker had a massive kick at the end to stun the two favorites and take the gold.
So here you have a long distance runner vs a shorter distance more mile length runner with a massive kick..
Awesome race.
If you want to get to the last 3-4 laps where it gets good go to 7 minute mark.
Awesome race. I saw Fischer win an indoor 1,500 the other day against lesser competition, but obviously he's a distance runner, working on his finishing. And we know from the olympics how good Cole Hocker is at finishing...and he's used to the shorter races.
If you want to get to the last 3 laps go to 7 minute mark.
