Predict our January Record

Post#1 » by -SDU- » Wed Jan 2, 2008 6:57 am

personally i think our team is going along nicely but definately needs to be improvements made within the team before the playoffs start in order for us to content

our schedule has been tough to begin with, but now it settles down, and january / february is probably the time that will determine if we are contenders or if the sky really IS falling in phoenix.

Fortunately, if things do go sour, then the trade dealine is till there to make a move, so if we want to stand pat with this team and go for a title with the current squad, we need to prove it now, with januarys schedule

predict our games

Jan 3 vs Seattle - Win
Jan 5 vs New Orleans - Loss
Jan 7 vs Denver 9:00 - Loss (the sky will be down by now)
Jan 9 vs Indiana 9:00 - Win
Jan 10 at Utah 10:30 pm - Win
Jan 12 vs Milwaukee 9:00 - Win
Jan 15 at LA Clippers 10:30 - Win
Jan 17 at LA Lakers 10:30 pm Win (REVENGE!)
Jan 18 vs Minnesota 9:00 pm - Win
Jan 20 vs New Jersey 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 22 at Milwaukee 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 23 at Minnesota 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 25 at Cleveland 7:00 pm - Win
Jan 27 at Chicago 1:00 pm - Win
Jan 29 vs Atlanta 9:00 pm - Win (by now we will be on a 12 game win streak and people will be talking championship)
Jan 31 vs San Antonio 10:30 pm - loss (the SKY WILL BE FALLING again...... trade marion fools will start talks will heat up after he underperforms against the spurs)

a fairly winnable month and one that we should lose no more than 5 games max if all goes well, and if we lose more than that, then definately we may need to look at trades etc to address whats wrong

Jan 3 vs Seattle - Win
Jan 5 vs New Orleans - Win (A little revenge and the Matrix to have a big game)
Jan 7 vs Denver 9:00 - Win (I don't like them)
Jan 9 vs Indiana 9:00 - Win
Jan 10 at Utah 10:30 pm - Loss (I think they will begin to get it together)
Jan 12 vs Milwaukee 9:00 - Win
Jan 15 at LA Clippers 10:30 - Win
Jan 17 at LA Lakers 10:30 pm Loss (At this stage they seem to have our number)
Jan 18 vs Minnesota 9:00 pm - Win
Jan 20 vs New Jersey 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 22 at Milwaukee 8:00 pm - Win (Look out for Google, could spell danger)
Jan 23 at Minnesota 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 25 at Cleveland 7:00 pm - Loss (See the Jazz)
Jan 27 at Chicago 1:00 pm - Loss (See above)
Jan 29 vs Atlanta 9:00 pm - Win
Jan 31 vs San Antonio 10:30 pm - Win (Can we sweep this series this season?)

I don't see us losing at home. Most of the games that we play at home are pretty soft except for the 2nd, 3rd and last.

I think we'll lose to Utah and possibly one other game (I'll go with either Chicago or Cleveland since it's the back of a 4-game road stand). I can def see us rattling off a bit of a win streak.

I think most ppl got last months spectacularly wrong. We lost way too many games.

i would be dissapointed with 10 and 6 but its not unreasonable to predict that

if that happens, i would expect the sky to be down here

I've been pretty down on this team...we've been struggling, we've been consistently inconsistent, and we've been losing games that we are suppose to win (Minny and Miami b2b...) This team nowadays is unpredictable. You don't know which Suns team you are going to get each night (heck, you don't even know which Suns team you're going to get each quarter...)

Jan 3 vs Seattle - Loss (sky is falling)
Jan 5 vs New Orleans - Win
Jan 7 vs Denver 9:00 - Win
Jan 9 vs Indiana 9:00 - Win
Jan 10 at Utah 10:30 pm - Loss
Jan 12 vs Milwaukee 9:00 - Win
Jan 15 at LA Clippers 10:30 - Win
Jan 17 at LA Lakers 10:30 pm Win (I hope!)
Jan 18 vs Minnesota 9:00 pm - Win (blow out fashion)
Jan 20 vs New Jersey 8:00 pm - Loss
Jan 22 at Milwaukee 8:00 pm - Loss (thousands of trade scenario begins..)
Jan 23 at Minnesota 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 25 at Cleveland 7:00 pm - Win
Jan 27 at Chicago 1:00 pm - Loss
Jan 29 vs Atlanta 9:00 pm - Win (this is a must win...)
Jan 31 vs San Antonio 10:30 pm - Win (our crowd needs to step up)

I think I'm being pretty optimistic here...

I did a little research if you will and went back to see how we do when Amare gets a double-double we are 12-0.

Amare averages are as follows when he gets a double-double.
32.5 MPG 127-196 64.8%fg 1-5 20%3pt 76-106 71.7%ft 3.16ORPG 7.67DRPG 12.3TRPG 1.25APG .92SPG 2.0BPG 2.42TOPG 3.8PFPG 27.6PPG

With that said!

Jan 3 vs Seattle - Win ( Tough for some reason. Durant goes off on us)
Jan 5 vs New Orleans - Win
Jan 7 vs Denver 9:00 - Win
Jan 9 vs Indiana 9:00 - Loss ( They will show up.)
Jan 10 at Utah 10:30 pm - Win
Jan 12 vs Milwaukee 9:00 - Win
Jan 15 at LA Clippers 10:30 - Win
Jan 17 at LA Lakers 10:30 pm Win (Oh, please let it be so!)
Jan 18 vs Minnesota 9:00 pm - Win (revenge)
Jan 20 vs New Jersey 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 22 at Milwaukee 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 23 at Minnesota 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 25 at Cleveland 7:00 pm - Loss
Jan 27 at Chicago 1:00 pm - Win
Jan 29 vs Atlanta 9:00 pm - Win (Steve Kerr will tell them they need this to improve the odds for their pick.)
Jan 31 vs San Antonio 10:30 pm - Win (Steve, Amare, and Shawn have strong double-doubles. Grant nearly gets a triple-double and a game saving block on Duncan.)

Jan 3 vs Seattle - Win
Jan 5 vs New Orleans - Win (Chris Paul will outplay Nash, but not get the W)
Jan 7 vs Denver 9:00 - Loss
Jan 9 vs Indiana 9:00 - Win
Jan 10 at Utah 10:30 pm - Loss (When healthy, I don't see how we can beat Utah. They'll grab more offensive rebounds than we grab defensive)
Jan 12 vs Milwaukee 9:00 - Win
Jan 15 at LA Clippers 10:30 - Win
Jan 17 at LA Lakers 10:30 pm - Loss
Jan 18 vs Minnesota 9:00 pm - Win
Jan 20 vs New Jersey 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 22 at Milwaukee 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 23 at Minnesota 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 25 at Cleveland 7:00 pm - Loss (LeBro goes off)
Jan 27 at Chicago 1:00 pm - Win
Jan 29 vs Atlanta 9:00 pm - Loss
Jan 31 vs San Antonio 10:30 pm - Win (but SA will be w/o at least one of the Big 3)

Record: 11-5

Jan 3 vs Seattle - Win
Jan 5 vs New Orleans - Win(CP will have a great game but Amare is going to dominate.)
Jan 7 vs Denver 9:00 - Loss (close game but we will lose becouse of our coach.)
Jan 9 vs Indiana 9:00 - Win
Jan 10 at Utah 10:30 pm - Loss( once again will show our lack of rebounding.)
Jan 12 vs Milwaukee 9:00 - Win
Jan 15 at LA Clippers 10:30 - Win
Jan 17 at LA Lakers 10:30 pm Win (REVENGE!)
Jan 18 vs Minnesota 9:00 pm - Win
Jan 20 vs New Jersey 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 22 at Milwaukee 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 23 at Minnesota 8:00 pm - Win
Jan 25 at Cleveland 7:00 pm - Win
Jan 27 at Chicago 1:00 pm - Win ( close game but Amare is going to prove once and for all the he is a great player.)
Jan 29 vs Atlanta 9:00 pm - Win
Jan 31 vs San Antonio 10:30 pm - Win ( like somebody else already said, probabaly one of San Antonio's big three won't play. Popivich is playing mind games with D'Antoni)

The Suns record for the month of Junuary will be 14-2 and by this time we will have a topic that will include how PJ Brown will help us in the playoffs. Just my humble opinion.

Overall record after the month of January will be 36-11.

Damn already wrong with the NOR game. I hope they can prove my predictions wrong on overall record for the month.
