Cats - Hornets is what you're concerned about? I have more issues with playing DAL, then @GS, then LAL, then BOS THEN DET...rough!

suns schedule gets TOUGH as hell from here to the end of the season now

the schedule has been an underrated aspect of the season thus far. the suns have been at the top of road games played all season. 26 so far while the spurs have only played 17 by comparison.

whats amazing about the upcoming schedule is the suns will essentially be sleeping at home for the next month. just a one night quickie to the bay area and back.

What makes this even better is that during this same time frame, we can watch the Lakers and Spurs experience the exact opposite.

Starting on thursday, Lakers have 12 road games out of their next 13.

Thu. Jan 31 @ Detroit
Fri. Feb 1 @ Toronto
Sun. Feb 3 @ Washington
Tue. Feb 5 @ New Jersey
Wed. Feb 6 @ Atlanta
Fri. Feb 8 @ Orlando
Sun. Feb 10 @ Miami
Mon. Feb 11 @ Charlotte
Wed. Feb 13 @ Minnesota
Tue. Feb 19 Atlanta
Wed. Feb 20 @ Phoenix
Sat. Feb 23 @ Clippers
Sun. Feb 24 @ Seattle

Spurs of course have their upcoming rodeo trip starting now. And they have a losing record on the road so far this season.

Mon, Jan 28 @ Utah
Tue, Jan 29 @ Seattle
Thu, Jan 31 @ Phoenix
Tue, Feb 5 @ Indiana
Wed, Feb 6 @ Washington
Fri, Feb 8 @ NY Knicks
Sun, Feb 10 @ Boston
Mon, Feb 11 @ Toronto
Wed, Feb 13 @ Cleveland

Edit: Dallas has 11 out of their next 15 on the road too.

Mon. Jan 28 @ Memphis
Thu. Jan 31 @ Boston
Sun. Feb 3 @ Detroit
Mon. Feb 4 @ Orlando
Wed. Feb 6 Milwaukee
Fri. Feb 8 Memphis
Sun. Feb 10 @ New Jersey
Mon. Feb 11 @ Philadelphia
Wed. Feb 13 Portland
Thu. Feb 14 @ Phoenix
Wed. Feb 20 @ New Orleans
Fri. Feb 22 @ Memphis
Sun. Feb 24 @ Minnesota
Mon. Feb 25 Chicago
Thu. Feb 28 @ San Antonio

^^^exactly the reason i have kept the Suns "poor play" in perspective. So far this year, they have simply taken care of business. Now its time to create some separation.

yeah, but also the suns record vs the west is terrible in comparison and we have yet to play boston detroit, and have 3 games to go against the mavs spurs etc

we have plenty of tough games to come, fair enough they are at home, but our record against current western playoff seeds is pretty average

Given our b2b record, I'd agree I'm more worried about that than Dallas, etc.

Don't be worried. Mon, Feb 4 and Wed, Feb 6 isn't a back to back.

Playing at Golden State and then coming home to play Dallas is a back to back on the other hand.

Agree completely. I always look closely at road records whenever I look at the standings. Not too many teams in the West boast a good road record and that can be put down to the West being much more competitive.

Having said that I haven't been happy with our play at home so it's time for the Suns to prove me wrong and start treating our home like a fortress.
