Seattle/Phoenix - Could this trade make us better?

With the activity in our division its our time to make moves to get better, this trade would bring us a big man and a pg.

Sonics get -

Barbosa
Banks

Suns get -

Wilcox
West

Sonics get a good young player in Barbosa who along with Durant will light up the opposition for years to come.

Suns get an athletic big man they want, along with a good backup PG. The only problem is that West is not a great shooter which could place him in DA's doghouse ala Banks but atleast West has a cheaper contract if that were to happen.

i would hesitate because i love barbosa (and we all now know he would cry when traded because of that prank) but i would probably do that trade

i think a genuine shot blocker is what we need though

i would be doing what it takes to try and get camby

I'd do it but not with LB.

I think both West and Wilcox would be great here but it pains me to trade Barbosa. I'd have to think real hard about it tho I'll be honest.

Yeah it would be tough but we know that PHX has already had interest in Wilcox. Would Seattle do it?

I like Wilcox, but I don't want West here.... the guys is so fugly. He's got like permanent oral herpes... gross.

I'm with the Camby comment. A guys like Camby solves all of our problems. If Denver wasn't having a problem keeping their guys healthy they might seriously consider a trade for him.

Is Brand out for the season?

Just about any deal involving Seattle has to include at least a FEW of the guys listed below:
Wilcox
Collison
West

I've been lobbying for a deal with Seattle for awhile now with the main component from the Suns standpoint being Marion.
I believe a deal involving Marion/Barbs/Banks/Pike/Tucker/Strawberry to Seattle for Collison/Wilcox/Ridnour and Wally

We get a LOT better rebounding wise and add some real talent to several positions on the floor. We get a real back-up for Nash, and 2 bigs that are average defenders but can fill it up on the boards and have the talent to explode offensively.

Seattle gets a great young guard in Barbs to build on with Durant and Green. They get 2 young unknowns with tons of upside in DJ and Tucker, along with the possibility to trade Marion this summer, whether straight up or in a S&T to either move up in the draft or to get another Star. We trade our baggage for theirs in Wally for Banks.

why for Seattle ... easier to trade a bigman than a small!

Atlanta #1 not offered.... but more money lone term... no

Talk about robbery. Trade all your scrubs and Marion for 4 legit starters/great role players.

Barbosa is nice, but the Sonics already got the contracts of Watson and Ridnour, which they would like to get rid of, and won't take on Banks crappy deal.

BTW: I really don't think that the Suns and Sonics are good trading partners, cause you guys just don't have the contracts that we'd be looking for in a trade.

Except for man to man defense, becuase of his lack of body mass, this isn't one his strengths defensively. So, not quite, but definitely a significant defensive improvement.

It's a birthmark, from what I've learned.

That's the only player Seattle gets in return. Everyone else is a scrub and Marion will never stay in Seattle.
