Suns should sign...

Post#1 » by thamadkant » Sat Feb 2, 2008 6:25 pm

Its been rumoured that Grizzlies will buy Kwame Brown out.

Since the leage changed some rules to prevent him signing with Lakers and adding to their HUGE frontline already.

Suns can add a big, athletic body in Kwame Brown, who does well in bodying up Duncan and other big guys.

With Nash and the system, Kwame will get open looks and his confidence will increase.

Yes he has low B-Ball IQ, but playing in this system, where finishers get rewarded, he will contribute.

But again the main thing is he provides a big body next to Stoudemire, Skinner and Diaw.

Yeah I'd be okay with giving him a shot, doesn't really seem to be a cancer. All of his teammates were quick to come to his defense when the lakers fans were booing him so I dont see any reason not to give him a shot.... But I dont really see him getting bought out.

Yeah but if he's open...Nash can hit him in the hands and he'll drop it half the time. Nash would be SOOOO pissed at him. No way that happens.

Forget Brown. He is a bust. The last thing we need to do is acquire someone who wouldn't help the team, although Pike isn't helping us now. I don't know. I don't think I would do it.

Are you kidding me, you must be joking.

Did you see that last game when Kwame turned the ball over 7 times in 60 seconds.

Come on now have some common sense, Coach only plays 7 players off the bench.

Skinner is averaging 8 minutes a game he can barely get in the game.

There is no way in Ten Million Years that the Suns sign Kwame, they would sign Wilt Chamberlin before they sign Kwame. And he is under dirt.

we wont get him for the simple reason that dantoni has basically said every derogatory comment you could about him, most of which are in the 7 seconds or less book

but would i sign him? Yes, for the simple reason that he can give us inside info on the lakers. 2 years ago when the lakers took us to 7, Kobe kept raving about how much help Jim Jackson had been in preparing the lakers for what the suns were going to do etc,

also, he is a bigger body than anyone else on the team, and who knows, people do play their best with nash. not only that but he would have a point to prove vs LA

personally, i WOULD sign him

A Big man will be useless because D'Antoni won't play him. Garnett would be rotting on the bench if we somehow landed him.

If we can get rid of D'Antoni and land a big body that demands double teaming.... we're set

Didn't Kwame once throw a birthday cake at some guy (the person it actually belonged to)?! I don't want such a sadistic "human being" to play for our team. Brown's a criminal, they should have locked him away for trying to kill someone with a damn birthday cake :nonono:

Brown was being booed every time he touched the ball... tell me that wouldnt get you all nervous and pressured... he is bad already with turn overs, but with with the Lakers fans booing him, again... thats just sad.

Even Kobe said Kwame is very sensitive.... being booed by the unforgiving LA crowd doesnt help.

thats thinking stupid, i'd much rather have brown than piak and marks put together, at least the guy can guard bigger players and grab boards, he looks like an all-star when he plays against us.

The Lakers are signing him back anyways. They have to wait 30 days, but they're getting him back.

Brown would single-handedly(or clubbedly really) add 3 TOs per game to Nash's stats.

Return to Phoenix Suns
