Lakers and Suns
Man I must say that I would love to play you guys in the playoffs again, even before we got Gasol. I'm not trolling. I'm just a fan of your offence, its fun to watch and I like to see you guys run other teams down into the ground. I look forward to seeing you guys man. I can't wait until April. I think we match up well with you guys. Once again I'm not being a troll, just saying that I would love to meet you guys in the post season.

PF:Gasol
C:Bynum
SG:Bryant
PG:Fisher

I just don't know how well Bynum will play following surgery. I think that at least by next season if Bynum and Gasol can play together for a full season that they'd be a pretty big force to reckon with.
Kurt Thomas's contract expires at the end of this season so we could pick him up again for next season if he wants to come for the veteran's minimum.

LA's height and rebounding advantage is going to help them slow tempo down to halfcourt ball. On offense, they have a capable 7 foot post player to pound the ball into and another on the wing. Nash will have problems driving deep for kicks to the arc (which makes him shoot more than Dan Tony would like). These are fatal flaws for Phx -- good bigmen have been your death knell since Barkley.
But I'm not sayin you guys shouldn't be confident. I can't take that away from ya.

Line em all up and we will knock em down.
I just dont see things playing out like the last 3 years anymore. We are on the rise now and even though you have beat us lately in the postseason, without getting the main prize the level of confidence in the suns team should not dwell beyond the last game of the regular season.
OH we would like to give you odom for marion, to fit the role that grant hill was brought in to fill a bit better.

adding gasol does nothing but take shots from kome and hinder bynums development
I just don't see it that way, the Suns will be up against a front line of Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Mihm, Radmanovic, Walton, and Ariza. Farmar, Fisher, Bryant, and Vujacic will be hard to beat as well. Farmar and Fisher will attack Nash non-stop forcing him to play defence.

One way you beat that line up is by spreading them out. You can shot, and they will not beable to stop the drive and kick. The problem will be is how Amare plays (and if they feed him) and if they can limit offesnive rebounding. Thats a lot, but this team can do it.
also, Gasol is really soft, and odom is not Malone. bynum is young and still learning. I read that the injury is worse than they expected and reported, and do not want to rush him back because he is so young.
We will not see you guys until the 2nd rd. the west is so dang good right now, anything could happen in the first.

Bynum - Amare
Odom - Marion
Ariza - Hill
Kobe - Bell
Fisher - Nash
cause that one just matches up better and our bench would be
Gasol
Turiaf
Vlad
Sasha
Farmar
It's kind of funny how the Lakers fans have come out of the wood work and are pumping their chest. First of all, lets play the game first to see hows a better team.
Pau Gasol is a very good addition offensively but defensively he's a vey poor defender. I know you guys are going to say that that he is seven foot but he's a soft seven footer. Andrew Bynum is not going to be 100% when he comes back and also theirs going to be some chemistry issues when he does come back. If reports are correct here in Phoenix, the Suns are trying to get Marcus Camby and talks are progressing.
How about this line up:
Suns
Steve Nash
Raja Bell
Shawn Marion
Amare Stoudimare
Marcus Camby
Bench
Grant Hill
Boris Diaw
JR Smith

ray ray,
Lets be real, you know what your so smart till the point your dumb. Why in the hell would Denver give up Camby and on top of that to somebody in their own conference. Denver would put you guys trough fits during the whole series. and ir you think that your getting Camby with out giving up Marion, Diaw, Bell, or Barbosa. It wont happen ever, it will be a CHILLY DAY IN HELL FIRST. Not being mean, just being honest.

Ugh.. whatever you do don't do this trade...
Shaq going to the Suns
that would kill your offense immediately... and good luck defending the pick and roll....
