Quit Whining, Start Getting Excited

Everyone, yea sayers and nay sayers...fact of the matter is this: The trade is done. There is no turning back. Is it the best trade, who knows? I do know this though, there is excitement & intrigue surrounding the Suns organization...an intrigue that I haven't seen exist in a Suns trade since Barkley.
As a PROUD Suns fan, I support and trust the decisions of our management and I welcome Diesel to the Valley of the Sun with open arms and HUGE expectations.
I will wait to judge until after his first few games - Props to management for having the balls to make such a move. This either makes or breaks you as a GM/Owner/etc.
Either way...as far as talent goes (minus Dantoni's system)...how can you not get excited about:
Nash
Bell
G-Hill
STAT
Shaq
FYI...that's 3 rookie of the years in a starting line-up (irrelevant or not)

Why not, we havent seen a game played yet.
We can still run and gun with stat bell barbs hill and nash, if we dont score off that hold it for a second wait for shaq to make position and give him the ball to go to work.

You're amazing. Last week when dbdynasty leaked out the info you said you hate Shaq blah blah blah now you're behind it 100%. I hope I can be that kind of believer that always support the organization no matter what.
This deal is tough for me to swallow because I'm a HUGE Matrix fan and I'm sad that he's no longer on my favorite team. I see their logic behind it and all, also with Shawn's contract situation, but I still don't like the deal. Just because a decision has been made doesn't mean I have to like it or support it. I will understand it, just like when they dumped KT, but I hate it.

That's what I'm talking about KPC & SDU...these are our new Sunnies!!
And, just FYI...I had the pleasure of meeting Shaq a few months back during a retail conference for my job. I was working with Hulk Hogan on his energy drink, and Shaq & Hulk are friends from Miami. Let me say this...in Hulk's small backstage booth, Shaq came in and made a point to shake everyone's hand in the room and introduce himself. Completely humble and genuine.
I know this doesn't speak to on-court performance, but very unexpected and impressed me a lot from a guy with such presence and stature.
Go Suns and beat the SH*T out of LA!

Can I also add that Shaq, during his "bad season" this year, is averaging a FG% of 58%, just 1% below Amare's?? And he's playing so bad that he's averaging approx. 8 Rebounds per game, with 15 pts (Without Nash & with a mostly-injured D-Wade)??
Barring injury (knock on wood), these numbers will significantly bolster our team.

i just really hope he wont be out injured this year. I really hope one of the best training staffs in the L can really put the diesel to good use.

i still do hate shaq, as a person i dont have much time for him at all, he is full of hot air and himself too. I meant im 100% behind it as in " its happened now, lets not look back, just go with it"

im a massive matrix fan too, the guy is simply awesome. I didnt think we could lose marion and replace him in our run and gun system and have it work, hence why i was never behind any marion for AK47 deals, but a deal which changes us and puts amare at PF isnt as bad when it comes to losing marion
personally, i would rather this trade had not happened and we won a title with our current group, but it did happen, and as much as i love marion etc, i dont hate the deal, i think it will bring out the best in amare, which ultimately was what ive been screaming for more than anything
im not angry about this deal, im skeptical as to whether it will work, but i admire the balls to make the move and im going to support the decision made by a GM with championship rings to get a player with championship rings
surely they know more than me right?
(i hope

the matrix is a talent -- a great athlete who will score in a situation that isn't particularly design for him
but COME ON...
Marion cant create his own shot, and he wont make that much of a tangible impact in Miami...
His negatives will outwiegh his pros -- and I fully expect him to be exposed in Miami (depending particulary on style of play)

in fact everybody is missing such a nice person, a great player that shawn was. he played a realy solid role in every season he was here...
but we got a real upgrade in shaq, he is the 7 footer we were missing all the years, he has the playoff experience, he could be the dirty player to bring us a championship...
on the other hand he can be the mentor for amare, he is a great locker room presence and rocks the ****...
and if someone dance
