I've noticed that he has been doing HEAPS more defensive rebounding without Marion there.
He has been awesome lately. I think he has taken on the extra responsibility and is thriving on it. Seems to be trying to make up for Marion single-handedly at both ends.

When a player steps up to fill a void like Amare has and plays as well as he has... it's a no-brainer. Stoudemire has had crazy fg% over the past couple of games... and he's not playing as close to the basket as other bigs do in order to garner that fg%... he's been hitting his jumper nicely and has a crazy free throw streak going.
Again, no-brainer.
