After watching a few of Shaq

I honestly can't wait for his first game. He's probably going to look rusty as hell/generally suck since it's his first game in a month, but I'm holding out hope that step in and contribute right away.

He'll be rusty, but I think everyone is going to be playing with so much energy that it ill be hard to tell that he is a little behind in his conditioning.
Prediction: Shaq will have a double-double his first game out with PHX.

With the way Amare is rebounding, i doubt that. I think he'll go for 13 and 6.

There are plenty of rebounds to go around. I want to see him pull 5+ offensive rebounds. No more of this 10+ second chance points defecit between us and the opposing team!

there's just no way he will get 5+ offensive rebounds more than a few times the rest of this season. he's just too fat and old.
its hard to imagine trading away a SF who has averaged 10+ rpg for his entire career and getting better on the boards but its possible "w a rejuvenated shaq" (as they say)

At least he can still dunk.

Something about this picture does not sit well with me. Perhaps it's the fact that it looks like he's barely getting off the ground, lol.

At 7'1 you don't have to leave the ground very far

To be fair, it's also hard to imagine trading a 6'7" SF for a 7'1" C. The Suns just called the leagues' bluff.

But he's not fat; this has been proven... over and over and over again.
Stop perpetuating myths. Mind too that he's AVERAGING 3 offensive rebounds a game so far this season and has already had 7 games this year where he had 5+ offensive boards, including 4 games where he had 6.
So not only are you perpetuating a false myth, you're also completely wrong.

Shaq blows his nose, Shaq goes to the bathroom, Shaq walks out of the Arena.
24 Hours Shaq all the time. The new reality Show, Whats Shaq doing now. I love the guy but is this news everyday on what he is doing?

Marion has been a better rebounder the Oneal for about 2-3 years now, so getting Matrix is not like getting most 6'7" SFs.

blah blah blah, lets stop with all this non-sense, the suns lost in the playoffs the past 3 seasons with marion as one of the core players here, lets all get over it, we didnt get over the hump with marion, lets see how shaq does now, i feel we get better in the playoffs with shaq, when everyone slows down the tempo, marion could have averaged 18 rebounds per game, it still didnt matter, besides look at most of marions rebounds, most of them come by running the ball down, i've hardly seen him jump over 2 people for a rebound in the paint, oneal will box out and get those easy rebounds under neath the basket.

Lets not forget the 2-3 boards a game he gets when he misses easy layups only to grab his own miss and put it back.

I watched Shaq pull down the basket when he was with the Magic back in the day versus Phoenix (jeez, was that in the Colliseum? Wow.).
It was a bit eye-popping. And then we had to mill around for 45 minutes while they found a replacement hoop.
