Itll probably be announced soon or in the morning. Apparently it's for Alando Tucker and a pick(details havent been fully disclosed though). I heard it from a poster on another board who has a bunch of connections to people around the NBA.

If true, that's a good deal. Quinton is a good player and very cheap. I liked Tucker's potential but it was clear that he wasn't going to accomplish anything with the way our roster is set up for now and the future.
Hopefully it's a second round pick.

very good deal, he was always good on nash so i would expect him to take the chris pauls and deron williams of the league
not the best shooter tho right?
i was hoping for more of a pietrus defender / scorer type, but ross should definately crack the rotation

just looking at his stats, he is 7-16 from three this year
sure he doesnt shoot many, but his % is good though, perhaps he can get more
this spells an end to DJ's time though

Hes a skinnier Trenton Hassell basically, but a quicker defender. Offensively theyre both the same, CAN hit the 16 footer when wide open, besides that not much. He does a half decent job staying with(infront) of Kobe too from the Clips/Lakers games I've seen, but obviously sometimes Kobe is just too much. He'll be a solid defensive guy when Raja is out anyway, better than Strawberry at this point for sure.

Is this a done deal?
I checked in nba.com and Ross is a 43% 3pt shooter. 7/16 total for the season. I hope the training staff could do wonders in him to improve his offensive game. Quite low FG% though at 38%.

Yea If my memory serves me correctly he's alot quicker then your average 6-6 swingman which allows him to cover PG's better then most which is exactly what we need.

Sign BB for the min (if SEA release him), call it a playoff squad.

Hes definately one of the better defensive swingmen in the league. You shouldnt look at he 7/16 3 point stat though, he isnt gonna hit many especially with his form. He may get a few more buckets in transition though. In the halfcourt he should just be hidden.

I'll be really mad if the ATL pick was involved...unless it's swapped for the LAC pick

Sounds fishy because it leaves us still with 12 players.

A solid perimeter defender is something we really need, if we have to give up some offense then I'm alright with it. If he can be a James Jones type player that will hustle and play defense I'll be happy.

If you guys read Bill Simmons at all he had good things to say about Quinton Ross. Says he would be a perfect fit on a contending team.

FWIW he's a Clippers season tix holder

I think we're going to also pick up a shooter off the waiver wire, preferably not named Brent Barry.
