The only time that a blockbuster February trade has led to a championship was Drexler to Houston in 95.
That team struggled for weeks after the trade. Then it all came together in April and they were unstoppable
Point is, there's a lot of adjustment needed to incorporate Shaq. I'm going to try not to be too worried with the struggles right now, and long as they learn and improve

the loss sucks, but im not concerned about our title hopes
would have been nice to get some scrub teams to start with
bell and barbs have been too hesitate with their 3 point attempts since the trade
dantoni is using shaq high to leave space for amare and nash, and thats fine, but we do miss out on a few things from shaq
- his ability to draw fouls on opposing bigs in the post
- his ability to draw double teams and kick it to three point shooters
- his ability to score in the paint
we need to keep working to find a happy medium in there of keeping shaq out to open it up and getting him down low to maximise his talents
it will all work out, suns 2008 champions!

I am not worried at all
we are just not ready to play today and the whole pistons team is on fire
I would have lost 20~30 points too if the trade didn't happen
GO SUNS

If anyone was listening to ESPN Radio after the game, they raised a good point where they said the Suns are trying to hard to get Shaq involved offensively right now. They're forcing things into him instead of taking better options. Good point, IMO

Nash is a smart enought player to learn when to give Shaq the ball. They need to figure out their spacing. And the chemistry issue will come together.
I have been very disapointed in Bell, Barbs so far. I think they have not been doing that great of a job on both sides of the ball. With shaq, Amare and Nash, they should find some open shots.

Starting 5 can't do all the work. Diaw needs to to grow some balls. Surprised at Barbosa's lack of improvement as well.

The Sheed Trade could also a good comparison. Last piece of the championship puzzle.

At least it was so bad that D'Antoni is seriously thinking and questioning his methods.
10-15 point loss, D'Antoni wouldn't change ****.

They HAVE to get DJ shooting a boatload of 3s so he's ready for the playoffs/next year. He has the physical skills and attitude to be a defensive disruptor
praying for barry still...
