Wow..that sucks...well we of all fans know what it's like to lose a dominant young big for the season...So let's show some compassion and not egg any Rox fans on.
At least he helped guide them to be right in the playoff mix...Who do they have in the middle now? They should have signed Magloire, he'd at least give them a big in the middle...Do they go small now with Scola/Hayes/Battier?
Good luck Rox, T-Mac, STEP UP

I agree with the above here: they are only 3 wins ahead of both the Warriors and the Nuggets, so I highly doubt they'll be able to reach a playoff spot in the end.
It's just like B-Ball said: Yao and T-Mac both get injured at least once or twice a year, and the rest of the roster just isn't strong enough to compensate for that.
At the start of the season I would have picked them as a team that will definitely make the playoffs, but right now, looking at all of those injuries again, I'd say it's really time for Houston to consider trading McGrady for a less injury-prone player.

just bad luck for the rockets, they were on a major tear too
bonzi may have helped a bit now too had they not traded him
to any rockets fans that read this - sorry for your loss guys
pity it happened to a team i was confident of beating.....
pity it happened at all tho
wonder if he will be able to play in the olympics in his home country this year? if not i wonder what the chinese government will think and say about it?
