I dont get why you guys are stuck with D'Antoni. I dont even get how Suns homers can get along with him. This guy's soft as heck, better to replace him with Larry Brown or someone like that.

Well at least get someone who has the word "defense" in his vocabulary.

i totally agree. amare should know that being a superstar is not about scoring. he is only motivated to score.

Amare needs to learn to bring it every single game. We hear people talking about him the last 3-4 games that he's been great on both ends since the trade. But the last two games against the Pistons and Hornets he just reverted back to playing horrendous defense. He let up, and that's something you cannot do if you're supposed to be a great player. The Pistons and Hornets were amped up and ready to make a statement. Amare obviously felt like he made his statement Friday night against the Cs. Well, it doesn't work like that. Theres always another opponent to play.

Maybe an assistant coach who is defensive oriented would be an easier option.

Mario Elie...

I still think they should have kept Scott Williams on as an assistant coach those years back

man, dantoni is the right coach for this team

a defensive minded coach would be stupid. Lets set up a defensive team when we have nash at the PG spot

tom thidobeau (spelling?) would have been perfect as an assistant though

You guys can't fire D'Antoni. There are no alternatives out there. The only way you fire your coach is if your franchise quits and rebuild.

I hear what ya saying SDU, but with 2 shot blockers in the starting line up you can hide Nash in the defense.
