Lets face it, SUNS season is over

Post#1 » by Mr. Sun » Thu Feb 28, 2008 2:53 am

As long as D'Antoni is in charge the SUNS will go with the same losing match-ups, play the same weaknesses. He'll continue making sure Shaq flops by keeping him out of the low post. He'll continue playing Nash when we really need is LB's explosiveness. He'll continue sitting DJ and Johnson when defense is needed most.

Instead of looking for a sharp shooter, I suggest we look for a coach instead.

It's a combo of D'Antoni being a dumbass and not playing our defensive players and the Suns players on the court not playing with heart. There is still hope, I'm just sick of our team not showing up to win.

Is kerr a trojan horse? Because I still don't see how Shaqfu will help your style of offense.

This team doesn't appear to have any heart......and I think Amare is the antithesis of "team" ......

Consider this a public warning. You know why

Amare is the antithesis of team? What the hell are you talking about? That could be the stupidest thing I have ever read on the internet in my life, and I visit Digg, Fark, and YouTube daily.

Oh yeah, it's just SO bad! We get to the Western Finals two years in a freakin' row with ridiculous cicumstances both times and should have been on the Western Finals last year if a certain corrupt official and a cheap shot didn't happen.

Why don't you take a step back and realize that we should feel blessed. You want bad coaching? Look at Tim Floyd when he was with Chicago. Look at Isaiah Thomas in New York.

I'm so sick of that nonsense. It's the mix of players that is causing this disgusting display, not the coaching.

good god this is absurd...they've played a handful of games with shaq...team chemistry doesnt happen magically over night..of course losing to top teams doesnt look great but unfortunately LA, boston, detriot, and new orleans are on the schedule when the suns are in training camp mode

Amare is a team guy but at times it appears he cares more about STATS than the things that matter. I wish he would put forth the effort on boxing out, rotating, getting in position defensively that he does on the offensive side of the court.

But the same can be said for Nash and his horrid defense.

Bottom line is this team will go all out both sides of the court in the playoffs. I am not sure what their deal is right now.

Amare is the only guy who has come to play in the last week of play. It's not his fault his stats look the best. As well they should, considering they should be feeding him every damn time down the court.

Relax people, its not the end of the world. This reminds me of my NY football Giants mid season. Eli was stinking, Toomer was stinking, the defense was stinking, and teams were beating them up (see Vikings). All I kept hearing was the coaching sucked, no one played with heart, yada yada. Just relax people, its a cruddy time period, it happens. Let's see where they are in the next few weeks.

I have been defending him and defending him and defending. year after year after year.

The first two minutes and last two minutes of each quarter are the most important, yet we have our best players sitting and watching. Did you notice it all fell apart when Shaq and Nash sat. A coach needs to reconize when things aren't working.

I don't know about you but I am embarassed! I have been watching the SUNS from 1989 and even the worst suns team were not this embarrassing!

Whats embarassing is we have all the talent in the world and its being wasted. We have had the most talented basketball team skill wise for the last 3 years and have nothing to show for it. Same this year and I fear our path is not much different.

As a Spurs fan I thoroughly applaud the Shaq trade. You have to wonder if Kerr might not still be working for the Spurs.

Amare is, at times, the WORST defensive starter in the NBA.

Wow, i'm sorry your teams run is at an end. I for sure thought you guys had two or three years left. But getting rid of Marion was a big mistake.

i cant understand how people scream title after one game and season over after another

i have faith in this team getting it together for the playoffs without doubt

when miami won the title they were like last in their division after 30 games and sacked the coach

Im not condoning we sack our coach, but im suggesting we all stay level headed until this team gets 10-15 games under its belt, with some vs average opponents to really work it all in together then assess it

this team will be judged in may and june, im sick of winning in feb and not in the playoffs

im staying on this bandwagon till the very end
