When: Tuesday, March 4th, 2008
Where: Rose Garden - Portland, Oregon
When exactly: 10pm, Eastern Time (4am CET)
TV: MyCrappyOldPC

AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE SUNS' STARTING LINEUP:

C:
Image
Shaq's hunch really freaks me out

PF:
Image
Amare may look stupid in this picture, but he's doing mighty fine at the moment

SF:
Image
Wondering which user might save this pic of Grant Hill while drooling all over the place...

SG:
Image
Raja obviously forgot about something...hm...maybe HITTING YOUR DAMN SHOTS, DUDE?!

PG:
Image
Ok, Steve - I'll admit it: this is one of the funniest-looking turnovers I've seen in a while

The Bench:
Image
I know I used this gag before, but I still think it's quite funny

And here's the Blazers' lineup that just beat the Lakers recently - let's hope they won't be in the same mood against us:

C:
Image
Joel Pr...Pir..Pyriz...Pryzi...DAMN, that dude can block shots!

PF:
Image
Still can't believe the Bulls didn't keep Aldridge

SF:
Image
This pic could be way funnier, but at least it shows Martell Webster

SG:
Image
If Brandon should actually get on the wrong plane and end up in Iceland, our chances of winning would be a lot better

PG:
Image
Steve Blake is a good passer, can hit 3s...sounds like they should buy him out so we can finally get our perfect backup PG

where? Well, on the bench of course:

If you didn't like the gag the first time I made it, then I bet you don't like it much more now, either.

GOOO SUNS

Since I didn't get any responses to my question in the Sixers game thread and there wasn't a new one I just made it - just hope no one else is working his booty off on one right now

It's time to bounce back from a couple of pretty weak games and to prove that we're still able to compete in the West. The Blazers have a great young team and are doing better so far than anyone would have expected them to. This will definitely not be easy.

Love the game thread Moe. And the bench gags never get old! Well that is, if we actually get a bench worth mentioning.

Bet you'll love it even more if I should (be allowed to) continue doing the game threads ;)
Thanks for the kind words though, buddy :)

I really hate those games at the west coast, they're just starting too late, looking at it from a European point-of-view :(

Edit:

This comment would have made a lot more sense if you would have posted it inside my first game thread, not inside this one ;)

Nice thread JM, let's hope that you get to 2 and 0 before you get to 1 and 1.

The sky is read with the blood of the Suns mixing through it.

yeah, yeah I know if blood was mixed through the sky then it would probably be purple, but meh

GET SOME NUTS!!! better yet, find the little ones that you guys had before any trade went down.

The Suns have to win at all costs. The playoffs most certainly aren't a given. They have to treat these games like post-season games.

You're welcome, buddy :) Just because I'm not too optimistic about this season doesn't mean I'll stop rooting for the Suns...and if they screw it all up I still got my beloved Raptors :P

Can't wait for my first warning/suspension/whatever to pop up...guess I'll better keep away from the OT board like I did during the past few months since I don't want you guys to be forced going through RisingSun game threads :sour:

The Suns will DESTROY the Trailblazers. The Lakers lost because they were worn down out of a back-to-back, but Phoenix is well-rested. Phoenix also has a far superior defense, thanks to the dynamic duo of Shaquille O'Neal and Amare Stoudamire. Suns will win it!

Psssh. We were well rested for Philly - Same amount of rest, 2 days, and we still lost, not to mention Philly just got off a game from the night before vs. Golden State.

This will be tougher, I just hope they're energized and play like they care.

Yea, I read the first line and commented off that, then I saw his part about the Suns having a superior D after I had replied, and just blew it off.

But the Suns D is better in efficiency - We're 17th, Portland is 19th.
