Has Phoenix found the right balance? Are they ready to turn the corner?

I don't think so. Two of Phoenix

Well unfortunately for us until we prove we can beat those fast teams this guy is right. This week will be telling.

Yep, the proof is in the pudding. We have Memphis, Golden State, Sac, Portland, Seattle and Houston. If we can go 5-1 in that stretch, I think people will start to feel better about our chances.

Still, too many analysts are too far invested in this Shaq moving bombing to every give Phoenix any credit. It just will appear as fewer critical pieces moving forward.

Suns, if they really do have a chance of winning it.
Needs to beat all those teams, including Rockets.

Rockets are on fire and riding on effort and heart rather than talent at the moment. But good chemistry and they are tough.

But withou Yao Ming, as helpful as Mutombo has been, he will struggle some games and will not factor in on the offensive side when T-Mac is not having his night.

^^ Analysis are have their heads in Shaq sand. The real issue is D'Antoni and his very predictable rotations.

I actually think we would match up better with Houston if they still had Yao. Who is Shaq going to guard inside now...Deke? They don't have anyone who is going to be pounding it into the post.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever read. The NBA isn't a half-court game any longer? Weren't these the idiots who slammed the Suns for their run n' gun? Weren't these the idiots who said our style would never work? Weren't these the idiots who said that defense wins championships?

I understand we have to prove ourselves too, and rightly so, but they seem to be a bit hypocritical of things they said in the past. Once we show them, then it will be all good. Lets start with a win tonight!

LMMFAO!!!!!

the suns suck because we arent fast enough?

after 3 and a bit years of being told "run and gun wont win a title" now they tell us its "not a half court league any more"

BS!!!! these idiots are the same people who every year we run and gunned that said "it slows down in the playoffs, blah blah" now they are saying the opposite

contradictory journalism at its finest

After 15 years working at a major daily paper, I can tell you flat out that present day journalism is almost entirely about filling up the spaces that wern't sold as ads - wether it makes sense or contradicts what you said yesterday is of not matter.

And sports column writing of this kind is pure opinion, generally with no editor to send ity back and say 'how about some facts to support your take?" Honestly, you can write any nonsense you want and if it generates hate mail, the paper's managers are thrilled because someone is reading it. They call it "engaging the audience"

The only thing lower is tv journalism, of any type.

Not that I bear any resentment or grudges .....
