What if The San Antonio Spurs Do Not Even Make The Playoffs?
They have now lost three in a row with tonights loss to SA. 4 of their last 5. And they have Boston coming up.........
They could be sitting in the 8 spot or out if they keep up the losses. The West is so unreal this year. Like a bad dream in a good kind of way.

im sure you thought of putting this on the general board, it would have been locked ;o)
the spurs are like the suns - they will be in the playoffs when its all said and done and everyone knows it. however, it is interesting to see how old and lethargic the look. i watched most of tonights game and they looked like the underdog throughout.
but again, they will be there at the end of the day and i hope they are because we now match up well with them and they can knock someone out we dont match up with.

i'm not willing to say that you're suns front office prophecying translates to on-court prognosticating

the suns and spurs will be in the playoffs and will likely play one another

I agree at the end of the day you have to think SA and Phoenix will both be there.
Honestly though, Houstons schedule gets brutal over the next 5 games. San Antoni is not playing well at all. LA is without Gasol for the next 2-3 weeks. NO is consistently good. Utah cant win on the road but is a shoe in win at home. And we are heating up. I could see the following happenning.
NO #1 Seed
Phoenix #2 Seed
Dallas #3 Seed
Utah #4 Seed
Lakers #5 Seed
Houston #6 Seed
San Antonio #7 Seed
Golden State #8 Seed

I'm not saying it won't happen, I'm just saying that I wouldn't bet on it. It's all just way too close. Hell, Houston was about to fall out of the race now they are tied for 1st.
