Predict the Stretch Run

Right, we had our 5 game home stand to get things together witn no back to backs and we went 4-1 (losing to Utah)
Fact is we have lost 22 games and are 1 game out of first place
golden state and dallas have 25 losses are are 7th and 8th, denver have 28 losses and are missing the playoffs right now
remembering all of that, check our remaining games till the playoffs
Mar 22 vs Houston
Mar 24 at Detroit
Mar 26 at Boston
Mar 28 at Philadelphia
Mar 29 at New Jersey
Mar 31 vs Denver
Apr 1 at Denver
Apr 4 vs Minnesota
Apr 6 vs Dallas
Apr 8 at Memphis
Apr 9 at San Antonio
Apr 11 at Houston
Apr 14 vs Golden State
Apr 16 vs Portland
I havent highlighted the games above because they are tough, but because they are against people fighting for the same spots we are
win them and were in, but lose them (especially the back to back against denver) and we might well be out of the playoffs
I dont think the suns are fully set just yet, so im expecting losses in the remaining games, but just which teams we lose to is vital to A: getting into the playoffs and then B: seeding
what are your thoughts on our results?
heres mine
Hmm
Mar 22 vs Houston W
Mar 24 at Detroit L
Mar 26 at Boston L
Mar 28 at Philadelphia W
Mar 29 at New Jersey W
Mar 31 vs Denver W
Apr 1 at Denver L
Apr 4 vs Minnesota W
Apr 6 vs Dallas W
Apr 8 at Memphis W
Apr 9 at San Antonio W
Apr 11 at Houston W
Apr 14 vs Golden State W
Apr 16 vs Portland W
our streak to the end of the season should be enough to get us in the playoffs, but were going to have to bring it every night right to the end, there will be no resting
the next 8 days are crucial

10-4?
I'm iffy on the GS one, but Detroit we always struggle with, Denver is a b2b vs them, we'll probably split, and SA is a b2b after Memphis IN SA, so we'll see.

I say we don't lose another game at home and we split one of two against the top two powerhouses in the East. I also think that we have a good chance of getting the home and home against Denver, they just don't seem to me to be too much of a threat. Hopefully we blow out Memphis early so that we have a fighting chance against San Antonio, but at the end of the day I think they will win because they will have more to play for than us as they try to stay in the Playoffs. <<< Fingers crossed.
11-3 should be solid enough to get us top 4.

Must wins are games against SA and GS. This will give the Suns an edge mentally. Dallas ang GS are possible 1st round matchup fo Suns. Warriors are dangerous when confident. SA is tough mentally but a win will boost our guys confidence particurly Barbs.[/b]

3 and 11. Nah, Im kidding. Not many will say this, but I think the Detriot game is circled in a huge red marker. They imbarrassed us on our own floor, and the suns are going to be looking for pay back. I think the suns pull off a win in Dirty town, but lose in Boston.
I think 10-4 is a good record and something they can attain.

I think Phoenix and Boston are now the hottest teams in the NBA and I really think Nash, and Shaq have finally put this together and can make it work. The Suns have won 6 in a row and can beat a struggling Houston team tonight that was once hot but is now about to lose a few.
Detroit and Boston are pick ems at this point, as we struggle mightly against both teams.
Philly is hot as hell right now too but can be beaten and Jersey is a must for the Suns.
After that I see them going 8-1 the rest of the way with the April 11th game at Houston being the only loss.

I predict, unfortunately, that we have one more boneheaded loss. Not sure which. I also think we'll do well in the tough games, since we are now in last-stretch rehearsal mode.

That is the spirit! I was thinking that when they were 4-0 on this latest win streak. But it is unlikely. As I said in my Klondike topic it would be better to win a championship than 20-0 to finish the season.
I could go for a 36-0 to finish the season. Which would be historical in so many ways. Ya'll know what I am talkin' about dontcha?

I wouldn't rule out a win against Detroit because they will playing a second game of a b2b.
