Nash, Shaq speak out

First, a foul on Nash resulted in Billups' three-point play that gave the Pistons a 107-105 lead with 1:01 left in overtime.

``I think he panicked,'' Nash said of the official. ``He kind of stuttered and then he said: 'You were underneath him.' It's tough to take when you feel like you played well enough to win, but you feel like the win was taken away from you.''

After Nash missed a shot, Shaquille O'Neal fouled Antonio McDyess on the rebound and McDyess hit both free throws to give the Pistons a four-point advantage.

``I would have liked to see some consistency in the calls,'' O'Neal said. ``They (the Pistons) had help, there's no two ways about it.''

NBA officials are rumored to be behind the controls of the Iraq War.

tonight was the worst non-spur related officiated game i've seen involving the suns. i see a trend developing that is quite disturbing in the nba and its very unfortunate.

This one didn't have the full-on "rigged" feeling like the Game 3 of the Spurs did. That Warriors game a couple weeks back did...at least to me.

These statements coming from Two Future Hall of Famers.

They must be talking crazy-talk.

Stern is a joke. He spent half of his broadcast with Portland ripping the Suns fans. He even went as far as ripping Al McCoy. Stern should be taken out to pasture, or sent to the glue factory.
That GS bad cal was in clear view of the ref that made no call what so ever. Sad just sad.

They should either let both teams play, or call everything. They should also allow a challenge rule for a loss of a TO if found to be the correct call.

As far as Nash saying something, he should. He has been getting the short end of it for a couple of years. I mean the rookies guarding him are getting better calls. :o
As far as the Suns not getting calls, well that has been going on for decades. My mind goes back to Mark Eaton picking KJ up and throwing him to the ground for a no call. Or Mark West getting called for a foul while checking into the game. #41? I am not even on the floor yet?
Not sure if I made that last one up, or I actually remember there was a mix up while he was about to check into the game.

I missed the game, but talked to a few friends and listend to the post game stuff when I had a min. It sounded like they gots some BS calls go against them. Not surprised with the stern running this league.

This guy is the biggest, ignorant fool in sports. He thinks he is bigger than the game, and is the issh. It is time that the owners seek a new pres because this guys is a stubborn old cry baby. What a fool to bag on at big Al. It shows the lack of class this man has. It also shows that he is not the bigger man like he is suppose to be when he is bagging on the suns fans.

The bad thing is, the only way this guy gets out is by dying. Sad to say, but that might be a good thing for this league.

shaq and nash speaking out is not about whining, its not about blaming the refs, its about playing the refs game. try to intimidate them..sort of verbal flopping. its what spurs does, why not do it too? lets play the game of these refs...

Is there any audio of him talking issh about Al, and Suns fans? I herd his interview with Stephen A or Collin Cowherd (can't remember which) after that Spurs crap in the playoffs, and he was talkin some crap then too. But I had not herd anything since. Would just LOVE to here this load.

home court advantage = calls in favor of the home team. A refs worse nightmare is getting chastised by some front court seat fans like Mark Cuban.

It was when we played Portland. They had him as a guest during the broadcast. He basically called Suns fans a bunch of babies, and chastised Al for thinking the same way. Now I don't know if Al was sitting right there, but it was still uncalled for, when no one else could hear or see Al laughing with them.
To call the Suns fans out during a nationally televised game is completely uncalled for. We are his customers, right? I will never spend another dime on any NBA products for as long as he is the commish.
