I just miss Shawn Marion soo much, yes we playing really good this past 8 games without him, but he's was one of my favorite players of all time and now he's gone. I miss the alleyoops Nash always threw to the Matrix then Matrix runs back and smiles .


When will it stop hurting, wish he was back on this team, but NBA is all about business and money and there is absoutely nothing we can do about it.

I miss the whambam matrix slams! Quick question if we win the chip this year will Shawn get a ring?

I think Marion and Banks both would get rings because they were apart of the team this year.

I miss Marion, and wish we could have kept him and still could have got shaq. But I know with marion, this team was going nowhere. with shaq, I believe they are finally built for a deep playoff run, and have a better chance at winning it this year than if they would have kept marion

No ring for Shawn. I know I am new to this board, and wont get any popularity votes for this but I really haven't thought twice about The Matrix. I know I know.... right. I just think maybe he overhyped himself a little. GREAT player, but maybe not the Superstar he makes himself out to be. His nubers in ppg have gone down without Nash and rebounds went up by one a game. We are getting a double double out of Shaq, and Amare's game has sky rocketed since Marions departure. So, I would really have to say that I don't miss him all that much. We are a stronger team now. And if we could add Josh Smith somehow, I think he is the younger equivelant of Matrix right now. However, I will be cheering him when he games back into town with Miami (If he decides to stay there). He was great for this organization while he was here. Guess I will wait for the replies

Baloney! It's team discretion. Spurs traded Melvin Ely to the Hornets and awarded him a ring. IF the SUNS win a championship you better believe Marion will be awarded a ring.

Seems like everyone forgets that Marion was the one that asked for a trade. Induct him into the ring of honor. But give him a ring or even offer him one? I don't know about that.

We'll cross that bridge when it comes.

Ok so would we offer one to Shawn & not to Marcus?? Guess time will tell.
