The Toronto Raptors have signed forward Linton Johnson to a 10-day contract and waived guard Darrick Martin, according to NBA.com.
Johnson has spent time with Chicago, San Antonio, New Jersey, New Orleans and Phoenix. He averaged a career-best 5.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 18.1 minutes with New Orleans during the 2005-06 season.
Good for him. With his luck though, they'll sign him to two 10 days and then he'll float around again. Hopefully the Raptors do sign him for their post-season run.
Good luck Linton!

He can defend a bit, score a bit... hopefully he sticks around. We need something... a new coach isn't happening just yet, so maybe this will help...

Good to hear, I was really hoping we'd keep him but of course D'Antoni won't use the bench. He's a good all around type of player.
