Nice! I think I might agree with others that Dwight Howard should be 1st team. However Nash should be no lower than 2nd team. Yet the forums over there is his getting ripped apart as overrated. They claim he should not even be on any list. Just a bunch of haters!

Actually looking at it, it should be Dwight and Amare on 1st team. Dwight at C and Amare at PF. KG at PF on 2nd team and Duncan at C, since he really is a center.

There is absolutely no question Amare belongs in the 1st team above Dwight. Don't get me wrong but Dwight has very limited offensive ability outside the pait. I would love to see Dwight pop a 17 footer as smooth as Amare. And Amare still attack the hoop as well.

It was known early in Amares career that he was studying film of Karl Malone. And by the looks of it, it is paying off. Amare is no longer just the dunking machine (see Dwight) that he was the first couple seasons. He now has a legitment arsenal of offensive attacks. The opposing big guy steps out to contest jump shot, Amare will blow right by him.

Also, pay attention how Amare finishes at the hoop. I am not talking about dunks, I am talking about the shots within 5 ft. The guy sometimes alters his shot in mid shot, gets fouled and gets it to go in. AND Amare is an excellent free throw shooter. How many LEGIT big men can claim that?

Don't get me wrong. Dwight is a force to be reckoned with. But if Dwight only dunks on every one of his plays, it will quickly catch on in the league over the course of the next few seasons.

Dwight is a better interior defender than Amare. But both are not great at defending players outside the key.

Thinking about it, I will probably now swing my vote over to Amare over Dwight at the same position. Maybe I got caught up in the first half of the season hype too much.
