Well then, last game thread of the regular season - with the playoffs coming up, you guys should think about who wants to do the playoff threads/the first one.
If no one wants to do them (which i highly doubt), then I'll do 'em, of course. Just let me know.

I'm thinking of making a flash playoff game thread.... but don't look like you can embed on here.......so will see if I can convert to gif animation.

Looks like no Grant Hill for this one. Hopefully we'll know by halftime whether Houston has won or lost. Then rest everyone in the second half if houston wins.

Sounds great to me, plus it gives me plenty of time to do other super-awesome things like designing stupid new signatures

Took me some time, but I'd say it was worth it...ok, I stole the Frye part, but the rest of it was hard work

I wanna see us just do whatever the hell it takes 2 play the Rox in the 1st round.
If it means we gotta win then get er done, if it means losing then tank it.
If we can't get the Rox then try gettin the Spurs

^, Finally someone agrees with me that we should cheer to face Houston in the first round.
They are no threat whatsoever without Yao.
This will be exposed come playoff time.
I think the main theme of the Western Conference Playoffs will be "Star Power"
The team with the most of that star power will come out of the west.
Even Chris Paul said in an interview yesterday that the # 8 seed is just as dangerous as the # 1 seed.
I agree; honestly, I think records will be deceiving come playoff time.
I think teams like New Orleans and Houston will be exposed for their lack of star power and some of the lower seeds like Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix are going to be more dangerous.
And if it's Houston in the first round...who should we be afraid of?
Dikembe? Chuck Hayes? Battier? Rafer Alston?
Just double team T-Mac every time he touches the ball and they are toast.
They can't handle Shaq, Amare, Nash, and Hill.

They aren't a threat WITH Yao either!
Agreed on the rest, bring on the first round virgins

I copied this from another thread to post it here in regards to facing San Antonio (potentially) in the first round.
Guys, let's not forget certain things:
- Tim Duncan is the greatest PF of all time; the man has 4 rings and 3 Finals MVP's.
- Ginobili is going to win the 6th Man of the Year award for averaging an outstanding 20/4/4
- Parker was the Finals MVP last year and is coming off a great game last night.
- Bowen is one of the best defenders and 3 point shooters in the NBA
- Finley is still a solid player and Brent Barry will be back by the time the playoffs start to add 3 point shooting.
- And how can we forget about "Big Shot Rob" if he makes it back for the playoffs?
I can't imagine why people want to face them instead of Houston and Utah in the first round.
Honestly, I really want to avoid them until as late as possible.
To me, I think we should all hope we face Houston in the first round.
If not them, then Utah.
I think San Antonio is more dangerous than both of them.
I really hope we don't face them in the first round...

We're going to have to face them sooner or later...

Well, sure, but I would rather face them later than sooner.
I mean, would you rather get knocked out in the First Round, or in the Conference Finals or even the Second Round?
Everybody would rather get knocked out in the Conference Semis/Finals instead of the First Round.
I REALLY want to avoid them!

I'd rather play SA sooner rather than later, because maybe we'd catch them before they get into their playoff groove.

I'd honestly rather face Houston then the Spurs. Because you know when they are about to lose the game/series they are going to try to injure our players. That's just how they roll....
