D'Antoni forgot to include himself.

D'Antoni makes a good point. Flopping or not, we love it when they do it for us. It is part of the game now. Just adjust, adapt, and overcome. I wish Amare would have taken that sic jumper of his from the free throw line instead of going at KT though.

Even though he left out one of the worst offenders in Nash, it was good to see some fairness in his comments.

He also left out Oberto.

Who was really giving KT a run for his money in the MVF award for the game.

Not quite. He's adept at getting in front of offensive players and drawing charges. If you cannot recognize that then you're blind.

Nash flops with the best of them. I'm not saying he always flops but c'mon he's just as good as Manu at getting front of his man and flying backwards with a small touch and getting the call. Oberto as well is great at it. Both the Suns and Spurs are the best in the NBA at flopping.

I totally agree. When the 6'11'' 260lber Duncan ran over the 6'3'' 178lber Nash, that was a total flop.

It's one thing to flop in motion, but it's another when Nash is standing there for like 5 seconds yet players still charge at him. You know how to stop it? Just stop short of Nash and jump up and shoot. You know Nash can't block it.

And why did Duncan charge at Nash in the first place? Post up Nash a better option?

I'm not even talking about that play, Nash always slides in front of players at the last moment and goes down, it's dangerous and i hate when he does it. But hey like Coach D'Antoni says, when it's your player that does it you love them for it.

I will agree with that. It is dangerous because usually a player like Nash and his size is not down in the paint area on defense. And so opposing big guys might not see him when they catch the ball and drive. And there is a risk for injury for both players.

But just watching how Nash does it (which is every game) it's so easy to not get baited in. We all know Nash can't defend, especially in the paint. If teams would see this then they should adjust, quite easily. Just go straight up for the shot. Or post.

The flopping I hate most is when a player is in MOTION when "defending" and falls down. Also against screens. When a player runs into a legit screen and then flails arms(why are the arms flailing? They should be out feeling for said screen). And let's not forget when floppers use the staple in a flop, the exaggerated head jerking. That is what sells it.

I hope sometime in my lifetime they make a rule against flopping. Watching old footage of games back in the day it's amazing to see how many players get knocked down with no calls but still get right back up and continue playing.

Drawing charges is a skill, not to mention a bigtime physical risk. Flopping on the otherhand is crap.

Look you guys think Manu flops and think Nash is god and i think Nash flops and i think Manu is god. let's just agree to disagree.

That whole "hate it when they do it but love it when they do it for you" thing is absolute garbage.

I hate when any of my players act like pussbags and fall to the ground like other players in the league. I call them out for it and hate it with a passion. It's garbage.

Sometimes I flop to the left. Other times I flop to the right. I good with either one

enigmatics and BurningHeart have it right.

I absolutely hate it when any of our guys flop.

That being said, Nash does not flop. He stands in front of large, out-of-control black men and takes the charge every time. The only time its ever a block is when he is in the restricted zone.

Plus even if he did flop, I could forgive him with the understanding that he is just trying to make up for lost posessions when he is getting own driving the paint with nary a call to be heard.

You really don't understand, yes he slides his body in at the last minte, but he always takes one hell of a BIG hit and puts his body on the line, he doesn't just fall over when a feather hits him.
