The Diaw to Marion alley oop....(Diaw to Amare?)

Jajo's ridiculously obvious but effective 4 pt plays

I always remember when Amare bit on a Kwame upfake and ended up jumping OVER him...crazy

So much awesome Suns basketball over the past years

2004-2005 :

Amazing turn-around year by the Suns with DA's new Nash-centered system shoking the NBA and becoming the big upset team of the year (just like this year's Hornets team).
That was the flashiest team we had, with pre-microfracture Amare/Marion/JJ. Was NOT the best team we had tho, we weren't good enuf on defense that year.
We didn't have a chance at the c-ship, the Spurs were gonna beat us in the WCF even if JJ wasn't injured in the series, but that was still impressive as hell

Fave moments of the year,

-Nash flat out destroying the Mavs team that just finished lettin him walk cuz he suposedly was too old to be worth keeping.
All the Mavs fans who thought we overpayed him and he was gonna wind up gettin injured and die looked like total dumbasses after that (and have always looked that way ever since).
-Amare's monster performances against the Spurs in the WCF in what was gonna be his final games at the top of his pre-microfracture dead sick athletic form.
-Shawn Marion

2005-2006 :

That was the most impressive team (Amare out, we lose JJ, and yet we still make the western conf finals, WTF??!!), and prolly the team that had the best chance at winning the c-ship if everybody stayed healthy.
If KT and Raja stayed healthy all year the Spurs were the only team that wuda had more chances of taking us out then us taking them out in the playoffs, and in the post-season the Mavs took care of the Spurs for us.

That was our best defensive team, which is why we wuda been sick in the playoffs if at full strength. With the Kurt Thomas, Raja, and Diaw additions we were actually a very good defensive team.
Marion and Raja were 2 of the best wing defenders in the NBA, KT was a good post defender, and Diaw was solid. James Jones was also a solid defender off the bench, and TT hustled.
The only bad defender in the starting lineup was Nash, but Raja/Marion made up for that.
Since Amare was out injured and Barbs had a less important role on the team back then, that meant a lot more defense anda lil less offense (even if we were still 1 of the best offensive teams in the league.

Fave moments,

-Raja's 3
-Tim Thomas blowin Chokewitski a kiss
-Diaw's huge MIP season, his facial dunk on Dirk, and his buzzer beater in the WCF
-Raja clothesline on Kobe
-Shawn Marion

2006-2007

The big story that year was Amare's bigtime comeback from injury after microfracture surjery of course, after almost everybody thought he was dead.

That was our best team overall, we def had very good chances at the c-ship. Too bad Donaghy was still in the NBA to screw over game 3 of the Spurs series and Stern handed out bonehead suspensions in game 5.

Fave moments,

-The classic Nets vs Suns game, vintage Nash and Kidd goin at it
(2 best playmakers in the NBA, at the time)
-Amare pwnin the Spurs in the playoffs part deux
-The classic amazing comeback win led by Nashty vs the Maverdicks, after being down by 10 pts with 1 minute left in the game. Complete with vintage Chokewitski chokage at it's finnest
-The huge winstreaks
-Barbosa's breakout 6MOY year, and his jaw-droppin performance against the Lakers in round 1.
-Shawn Marion

You guys great memories good post hats off to all of you for those. I remember all but would like to add one small one to it.

Boris Diaw driving on Dirk Nowitzki and posterizing him to exclamate a win. Boris was playing center that series and Atlanta had just given up on him.

STeve Nash passing and driving the lane 1000000 x almost every time for a while was fun stuff. Even the siolation pull ups against Dirk.
