Mayo/Love on the move already!!!

The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't holding onto O.J. Mayo for long.
Two league sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that will send the draft rights of Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.
The deal is a blockbuster for both teams. ESPN.com reported on Tuesday that the Wolves GM Kevin McHale was infatuated with Love, but felt that the team had to select Mayo and use him to acquire more assets.
In addition to landing Love, the Wolves get a sharp-shooting swingman in Miller who can help carry the scoring load from the perimeter. The deal is also a financial boon for the Timberwolves who get the bad contract of Jaric (three years, $21 million) off the books. Walker and Buckner's contracts are not guaranteed after this season.
The Grizzlies get the superstar they wanted in the backcourt in Mayo. The also rid themselves of Cardinal's bad contract (two years, $13 million). The Grizzlies now have a glut of guards on the team with Mayo, Mike Conley, Kyle Lowry and Javaris Crittendon.

Since Memphis will have that glut at the guard spot, they'd be willing to do a trade with the Suns. Barbs for Lowry and Crittendon starting point?

damn i would love to have mike miller in here. we need to get something done, especially sice
dragic is not 100% playing in phx next year.
both guys you mentioned are shooting 25% 3-pointers. that´s not enough.
maybe we should look at something like villanueva. or get jamaal tinsley in here. our doctor - team could help him realy...

I still have a feeling Miami will trade Beasley to Memphis for Mayo.
Riley seemed to suggest that he had to be convinced to keep Beasley and it's no secret that he liked Mayo and Memphis thought Beasley and Rose were the two best players in the draft.
That way, Miami gets a PG and Memphis gets another star to play with Rudy Gay and Mike Conley.

I think Mayo would need both Crittenton and Conley on backcourt. So, maybe we could get Lowry for Tucker and a future first? Or Diaw for Walker/Lowry or Jaric/Lowry/pick?

Just read the General board and everyone is calling Mchale the worst GM ever, Mentally retarted, etc. I don't think it's that bad. Mike Miller is a very underrated player and love will be ok.

Mayo has STAR potential though..Love at best will be Christian Laettner, 17-9 max, whereas Mayo could be Wade...MMiller is nice, but yeah...
