Isn't Rod Benson that blog guy? He would be pretty cool to have on the team. Also nice to see Jared Jordan on the list. There are some interesting people on that list. Let's see if anybody does well enough to earn a spot.

Also I am suprised that Majerle is the summer league head coach over Kokoskov. Kokoskov has more coaching experience. Oh well, maybe we can learn something about Majerle's coaching style.

Gonna see if I can't get out there for the Suns-Trailblazers game.

On a related note... does anyone know what the hell the Trailblazer's logo is supposed to be?

real nice to see Jared Jordan on the roster, he had a solid college career at Marist. He had good handles, had an above average 3pt and free throw percentage, and could pass the ball pretty well, reminds me of someone whose name i forgot but he is number 13.....

Many on this forum last year wanted Jordan as a back up to Nash, but did not happen. I always want to see the suns take a chance on a guy that went undrafted, but as usual, they just field it with scrubs.

I think Tuck and DJ will lead scores. I also hope to see Lopez avg a double-double, and would like to see if Jordan steps it up. But I think Tuck, dj and R Lop are the only ones from this squad that makes it of course. But I want to see these guys step up their game and lead the summer team.

Marcus Vinicius peaks my interest a little bit. He's a wing guy I remember when he got drafted he was suppose to be a pretty big talent

I'm definitely watching the Knicks game cuz I'm fortunate enough to have NBATV. I dunno if Dantoni is coaching (probably not), but we'll at least get to see this Galinari fellow in action.

It'd be nice if Jordan/Benson/Vinicius could land a spot. Kinda sad that Jamont isn't on our team.

All 3 of the guys already listed might be good to bring in as some depth/insurance...Vinicius in particular has some skills that could be used here...Jordan I don't think will ever eventuate, and Benson probably just needs a chance

Liking Benson, Dean and Vinicius. Hopefully they get a chance to make the squad. Especially Benson he's been on the verge of getting on with a team in the past but always comes up short plus he's a real funny dude Boom Tho!

Re: roster and summer sked -

Thanks for this.
The modern world sucks in many ways but ... lots of basketball on tv. I grew up in the NBA on CBS/ABC era, one game a week during the season and most, unless preempted, of the playoffs

To be honest, I didn't watch more than a minute - funny-ish, but not my sort of humour...

Rod Benson PF/C (6'10" 235): Averaged 13.6 pts / 12 rbs / 1 ast / 1 st / 1 blk while shooting 52% FG / 68% FT in the NBDL last year.

Justin Cage SG/SF (6'6" 225): 12 pts / 6 rbds / 2 asts / 1 st / 1 blk while shooting 60% FG / 50% 3FG / 80% FT in the NBDL last year. GREAT DEFENSE!!! (a lot like Marion on defense and the ability to IMPACT a game without plays run for him)

Taquan Dean PG/SG (6'3" 185): 12 Pts / 3 rbds / 2 asts / 2 stl while shooting 38% FG / 30% 3FG / 78% FT in the Italian League last year. NOT NBA READY!!!!

Jiri Hubalek PF/C (6'11" 236): 11 Pts / 7 Rbds / 1 Blk while shooting 45% FG / 28% 3FG / 68% FT in NCAA (Iowa State) in 2006-2007. No record of playing BBall last year.

Ekene Ibekwe PF (6'9" 208): 10 Pts / 8 rbds / 1 Ast / 1 St / 3 Blks while shooting 50% FG / 64% FT in NCAA (Maryland) in 2006-2007. No record of playing BBall last year.

Jared Jordan PG (6'2" 182): 1 Pt / 1 Ast while shooting 39% FG / 17% 3FG in 11 games in Europe last year. ?????????

Ivan McFarlin PF (6'7" 228): 1 Pt / 1 Rbd while shooting 39% FG / 1% 3FG / 71% FT in 11 games in NBA (2006-2007). No record of playing BBall last year.

Marcus Vinicius SF (6'8" 225): 2 Pts / 1 Ast while shooting 45% FG / 42% 3FG / 46% FT in 13 games with Memphis last year.

Judson Wallace PF (6'10" 240): Unable to find current stats. Under contract with Bennetton Treviso of Italy for 2008-2009 season.

My favs to look out for are Rod Benson and Justin Cage. My surprise was the fact that Otis George wasn't brought back this summer. He's a guy I was hoping would be back to compete for a roster spot. I just don't see Jordan being able to do much in the NBA. If he can't do well overseas, he's not gonna do well here.

I remember reading it was a graphic interpretation of basketball 10 lines, 5 of each color representing both teams facing off on the court.
