What does everyone think will most likely happen in 2010 once his contract is up with the Suns?

I created a list of poll options that you can choose to vote on and tell us why you chose the option you did.

I agree with SDU. If his back is going to allow him to play, he's either staying here, or going to TO. I don't mind either tbh, but, imagine the horrible PG defense between Jose and Steve....ahahah!

I believe he'll forgo his player option next year and sign for less money allowing the team to improve making some FA signings. If there's a player who could do that kind of thing it's Steve Nash (and please don't tell me Arenas did the same cause he reduced his contract from 120 to 110$...wow, so generous).

--- if he goes somewhere I think its more likely NY than TO, given he has a home there,a business there and he can reunite with MD. If they get LeBron and Steve is willing to play for a min contract ...

Nash declining his player option and parlaying that into a smaller contract for a couple of years is obviously ideal.

The question is, who will that contract be with?

I want to say the Suns, obviously. But I think that hinges on Nash's view of Porter and of the direction of the team. From what I understand, he was a fan of the Shaq trade so, unlike some of the people on this board, he might still be a big fan of what Kerr is trying to do.

I know he is usually the first to call people we have on our FA radar to talk with them about playing in PHX. He also got both of his MVP awards here.
