Love the trade for the Suns but why would the Knicks take back even more salary?

Barbosa AND Diaw for Turk?

since we´re undermanned i hate this trade. we signed matt barnes and have ghill on the sf spot-
we have needs, but no needs for hedo..

There would have to be much more to it, Knicks take in over $15M and send out next to nothing.

NY gets Diaw for the four and a shooter in Reddick or (Bogans; I don't know Reddicks value in Orlando. I just figured NY would want a shooter!)

Orlando gets LB to replace Reddick and Lee to Make life easy for Howard down low. More rebounding and beef. Lewis can go back to the SF (Hedo and he cancels eachother out).

PHX gets Hedo to start at the SF and Malik to bang for one year with his expiring contract and size for one year.

What do you guys think about?

Hedo would be awesome on the Suns but the Suns would need to get more in both the proposed trades for me to do it.

I would not mind it to tell you the truth. I like Hedo, and think he could be the shooter this team really needs. However, we still have a big void at the PG position. I think Barnes is a 3, but I also think he can play the 2 for us. Hedo makes us a better shooting team I think, but Im not sure getting rid of barbs and diaw for hedo is the right deal.

The trade doesnt work under CBA.

So....we'd need to sign a 4 and bring over Dragic ASAP b/c our depth chart would be thin as heck.

Hedo/Hill
Amare
Shaq/Lopez

Dragic could hopefully be our answer at the 1 off the bench, but we'd still need a PF, and we'd need 3 players to just to reach the minimum limit.

Big fan of Hedo, but that trade is basically trading Diaw and Barbs for him. I'm not willing to give them both up just for Hedo. Though I do like the extras it comes with, it could help with our rebuilding. If I were Orlando, I would do this trade in a heartbeat, David Lee and Barbs?? This trade obviously is most advantageous for Orlando. D'Antoni, on the other hand, does like Diaw but I think he'd rather have Barbs.

To a certain extent this trade isn't half bad, Hedo helps spread the floor and give us that 3pt shot, he can take over a game in the 4th and looks like he could fit in our system. But we lose a lot of depth if we are to trade off Barbs and Diaw, both who are big parts of our rotation. Also, this trade still doesn't address our need for a backup PG.

i would like this trade if we got reddick as well/. hedo and jj would spread the floor.

i think hedo is overrated by some of the comments. he is finally an all star player after 8 years? before he was a solid starter/ very good sixth man. he made allstar in the east. come on and put it into perspective.

reddick is better than his stats speak. he can flat out shoot. i think his defensive deficiencies would fade away with everything else our team is good at.

i also think, that the board in orlando, that this trade was posted on originally, is on crack. they say barbosa is a head case.

i have been critical of him, but is not a head case. he is a much better version of anything they currently have at the same position.

david lee is also a very very good player who could start on many teams.
