2005
2006
2007
2008

Me personally I think 2005 and 2006 was the best years in the Nash era.

2005-Suns best regular season in the Nash era and one of the best in Suns history with a record of 62-20. Steve Nash named 2005 NBA MVP. Suns lost 4-1 to the Spurs.

2006-Suns best playoff in the Nash era one of the best in Suns history without Amare Stoudemire. Suns had new faces like Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, Tim Thomas, Eddie House, and James Jones. Steve Nash wins his second NBA MVP. Suns returned to the Western Conference Final but the Suns lost 4-2 to the Mavericks.

2007-Suns had a great but a very screwed up ending due to the suspension to Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw. Suns lost 4-2 to the Spurs.

2008-Suns trade Shawn Marion for Shaquille O'Neal. Suns lost 4-1 to the Spurs.

Yes 05 was my favorite because we were soo frickin diminant that season. We finished the year with a 62-20 record. Then raped the living sh*t out of Memphis in the first round, and won in 6 games against a very good Dallas team. Then lost to the flopping Spurs.

04/05- was the year that we had the complete package. JJ got hurt and was only able to play in 2 games in WCF.

05/06- was the year of what could of been. If Amare was healthy, what could of been.

06/07- the year that we got screwed. Amare and Boris get suspended.

07/08- The year that we changed. We traded Marion for Shaq, D'Antoni knew that run and gun was not going to be triumphed as we all hoped for.

The best year for me was the dramatic playoffs of 05/06.

2005- One of the most impressive years in any teams history. The only thing that would've made this season more perfect would've been that they at least made it to the NBA Finals, but it was still great that they made it to the Western Finals. And even better that Nash beat out Shaq of all people to become the MVP

2006- The most emotional year I've ever seen out of a team. They lost their most dominant offensive player player, they were written off be a lot of the analyst to barely make it to the playoffs if that much and they still ended up back in the western finals. Great season, and an even better playoff run by putting up a huge fight against the lakers, and the clippers. This team showed that they had a lot of heart and spirit to battle the way they did. My Personal Favorite.

2007- Kind of a process with the team to get back into the flow of using stoudemire in the lineup, but when they were all comfortable together, it was like a smooth honda engine running. LOl. They were great the entire time, and way more dominant than the purs who cheated them out of they chances to get to the title, or at least the WCF. In all opinions, a bullsh*t cheap shot by robert horry, and an even more unfair fruling by the league.

2008- I dont know what the **** to say about this season after they traded marion. ?????? I thought they would be alright in the playoffs even after they lost the first game, but they werent. F***in SPURS again

I loved the 04'05 season - the suns win 62 games after a terrible previous season, Steve Nash wins his first MVP title, and the Run N Gun system was birthed. Exciting basketball, and such a turnaround from the previous season.

I have to go with 05/06. Arguably the best first round series in playoff history, another amazing series against the clippers in the 2nd round (with my favorite highlight being the Raja Bell 3 in the corner) and a gut-wrenching loss to the Mavs in the conference finals. Amazing playoff run to say the least, and while it sucked to go out in the conference finals, it was one helluva ride.

this is a no brainer. it was the 04-05 season, the return of Nash to the Valley. DA and company introduced the world rwhat is better known as "7 seconds or less". this is the year that the game changed forever. it sure was a dream season for PHX fans, BUT couldn't punch the ticket to the finals.

2004-2005 was the flashiest team we had. Amare at the pinacle of his pre-microfracture athleticism, and Joe Johnson also added on to the flashy play along with Nash/Marion.
That team led us to an impressive as hell turnaround, but it wasn't our best team since we were pretty bad on the defensive end that year.

2005-2006 was the year our guys played with the most heart, making the WCF and still putting up an impressive fight vs the Mavs despite all the injuries.
It was also our best defensive team (when at full strenth) thanks to the Raja/Kurt Thomas/Diaw additions (who all winded up as starters). Since Barbs only had a limited role, and Amare was injured, that also contributed to more playtime for the better defenders, and so better team defense.
A real shame we got so many injuries that year, cuz Dallas took care of the fuggin Spurs for us and the Heat took care of the fuggin Pistons for us in the playoffs.
Bet we wuda won the title if at full strength.

2006-2007 was our best overall team. Amare had an impressive comeback from injury and we were just a crazy good offensive team, that also had some very good/solid defensive pieces since KT/Marion/James Jones were all still on our roster back then.
Too bad we didn't get much of a fair series vs the Spurs that year, that was prolly the only year we had our chances of knocking em out in the post-season for a change.

2007-2008 was by far the worse and most disapointing season. 1-4 exit in the first round says it all
