What you guys think of this?
Are the Suns pulling our legs?
Or Are we going to make it happen..

If we dont sign him we still need our 13th man...

Don't worry. We didn't spend them millions to get him state-side just so someone else can pick him up for cheap. It will be done soon enough. Nothing to worry about.

The wiretap always takes things out of context. The Coro's whole post gave more information. They are just waiting for all the legal stuff to resolve. The process with his buy-out needs to be finished. In addition, he needs to go and apply for his work visa. He won't be signed until after that. The fact that he attended the Rookie Transition Program says that he will probably be here.

The more surprising part of Coro's article is that Alando Tucker added 15 pounds of muscle. That will really help him finish after contact. He has a crafty game when he is near the basket. He is very good at using fakes and his body to draw contact. If he can finish after the contact, he will be more effective.

^ relax buddy. this was expected given they type of negotiations that took place to get Dragic here. He will be signed before preseason, that's how this mess will play out.

If Marbury is waived(and it looks more and more like he will be), I still wouldn't mind signing him to take a lot of the pressure off of Dragic. And then we can actually try that whole "let's not play Nash at all for 12 games" plan...

+1, but would he sign with us for a vet min? I doubt that.

I called it 2 months ago...Marbury is gone before training camp, Dragic will be cool about it and will still in Europe for some more experience. The Suns will sign Marbury, BOOK IT.

I love the idea of Marbury on this team, but not Starbury. Let's face it: he is still in his Starbury phase. Too big of an ego for this squad.

I've never actually minded getting players like Artest, Stephen Jackson, "potential" chemistry killers. Because I know behind all that ego and off/on court antics, lies strong minded guy who can get us through tough times. I mean as much as people would hate the idea of Dennis Rodman on our team because of his ego and antic, he would take us far into the playoffs because of what he can do.

But Starbury on the other hand, is talented no doubt, but unlike Artest or Jackson, I haven't seen him motivated or played hard for a long. I don't see why he would sign for a vet min + play behind Nash/Shaq/Amare + stay focused. I would like to see Marbury at Phoenix, but signing a Starbury to backup Nash may not be the best idea. You could say it's a high risk, high reward move, but I think we have to look at the risk more than the potential rewards in this situation.

Until Starbury has proven he can get motivated, I'm against signing him.

^ He had a big role when he was with us though. I have never doubted his talent, but I just think he will become a problem if he isn't motivated. I mean, we're going to offer a vet min and share minutes with a virtual unknown (Dragic.) I have a feeling the guy is going to be more bad than good. Another concern I have is with Coach Porter, he's basically a rookie coach and he's already coaching big ego guys like Shaq and Amare. Not sure if Coach could handle another big ego guy.

I could be wrong though, Artest seemed to be quite motivated going to a championship caliber team and a nice change of scenery. Maybe Starbury would turn back into a Marbury with a change of scenery.

I think so too.

However, Marbury has never really been on a good team like this. No team he has been a part of made it out of the first round of the playoffs. Having Hill, Shaq and Nash around may humble him a bit.

Perhaps, the winning will be enough for him and he won't have to be Starbury?

Plus I get to wear my old Marbury jersey again! Although he won't be number 3
