He's done much better with some of the starters(Raja/Nash/Amare), and Barnes has played like crap so far.
Nash
Bell
Diaw
Amare
Shaq
Barnes doesn't really "spread the floor" since nobody respects his mediocre 3 pt shot. I'd at least like to see what that lineup could do.
We should start Diaw at SF

That's terrible. The Zone will kill that lineup in 5 minutes.

the 1st five and 2nd unit are just fine. the rotation is ok, just give them some time.
what matters is who are the last 5 in the fourth quarter?

Re: We should start Diaw at SF
lol after 2 games people want changes?
if you start changing things you will never settle things down
the lineup stays number 1
secondly, if the second unit needs focus then get it to diaw on the block. how many touches on the low block do you think diaw will get if he starts next to amare and shaq? exactly.. NONE so he is where he belongs, as is hill.
the spurs dont start manu over finley, its not about numbers its about chemistry

Re: We should start Diaw at SF
yah, just relax, we´ll get barnes going.
i like the play of diaw so far, but come on after 2 aggressive games he does not deserve the starter role. btw who cares bout the season - all that counts are the playoffs, harhar

Am I the only one who hates when Barnes legs "tilt" (or whatever u wanna call it) when he shoots? Looks like his shots are short because of that weird movement.

^ That's his shot. Marion's jumper shouldn't even hit at the % it hits with those ugly mechanics but he still gets it to go.
As for Diaw starting . . . I think for now I'd like to stay with the current lineup with Barnes starting the SF. Once he gets his shot going I think it'll be fine. But Diaw has been trying to make a case for starting though. He's been playing aggressive and been contributing off the bench. The only problem I see is that we don't have enough shooters to space the floor if Diaw starts, and the lane would be mad cloggy. You'll have Shaq, Amare and Diaw inside if they start, I don't like that.

Re: We should start Diaw at SF
Geeze, another stupid post. come on man. This could clog our team down low and make our outside shooting worse with him. Amare can't attack the hoop as much now with shaw down there. Barnes is a hot and cold shooter. He plays D, that is what I like.
I like Diaws aggresion at times. He still does those stupid passes out to the 3 when he is under the basket. But with Dragic and Lopez in our 2nd unit, I really think Diaw has to stay in the 2nd unit. Starting does not matter, its finishing. the 2nd unit is for bars, hill and Diaw. They have to go off and lead the young guys.
