Ok, I've been traveling for the last week, so I'm out of the loop, but I see McDyess has been waived

Any rumors of Suns signing him? He would be a great addition to the team, no?

He's going back to DET.

Too bad... but it doesn't surprise me if that is the case.

I thought the Suns might have a chance if they made a play for him. From what I remember, he enjoyed his season in PHX

I think the league should ban these types of trades where they trade a player to another team and he gets waived and then signs with the original team.

McDyess would be great here but I think it's a prearranged deal where he would resign with Det much like what Barry did last year for SA.

^ they already put in the 30 day rule before you could sign with your old team (introduced after gary payton did it from boston to atlanta back to boston)

but i agree - you shouldnt be able to go back

Apparently he's not a lock to go back to Detroit. But we still have no chance.

Right, I saw he isn't a lock. But he has gotten interest from a LOT of teams, and will command more money than we would be prepared to pay him.
