Could Clips Trade Camby?

This is who we should have acquired to begin with, not the fat tub of lard. Camby brings toughness, defense, rebounding, and blocking to our front line without sacrificing what we did best.

Too bad we wouldn't get him from the Clips now, considering the whole division-rival thing.

Yup. Given how little the Clips gave up to get him, we def shoulda went after him a long time ago.
Now it's too late, I think they'll be looking at moving Kaman, not Camby.

dude WTF is your problem? relax buddy were 10-5 and won 7 of 10. Shaq is putting up Miami Heat-type numbers during his first season there. I admit we look worthless at times but slowly and surely it's looking better.

Actually I'd rather have Camby over Shaq. Having Camby here wouldn't take shots away from Amare or Nash or our other guys. He's just a guy who comes in and brings toughness, defense, rebounding and blocking, without all the touches. Also unlike Shaq, he's mobile enough to move away from the post when Amare comes flying down. The reason why Amare posted up those insane numbers towards the end of last season was because Shaq came in strictly for defense. If Camby came here, he'll be doing what Shaq was doing last season without demanding touches.

^^ And he can also play in an uptempo system effectively. Denver was 1 of the fastest paced teams in the NBA during Camby's stay there.

I don't care about our record. I care about how we look. I care about how marginalized Amare and Nash are. I care about how marginalized Bell and Barbosa are. I care about not playing to the team's strengths.

Camby would have been a better fit for what the Suns team have tried to do for YEARS (not just under D'Antoni), and would have fulfilled our biggest need without sacrificing what we have sacrificed.

Simple as that.

I am tired of hearing about ssol. It's over so everyone in here needs to move on.

Maybe when you guys stop thinking about the past so will our team and we can all move forward together as one happy unit of team and fans. We are 11-5 adjusting to a new coach, new system, new players, new rotation for crying out loud.

And something is occuring that I am surprised more people are not making a big deal out of. This Sean Singletary kid is exciting me. His handles look great and I think he will surprise some people.

He seems like Marcus Banks with better finishing ability to me. No real court vision demonstrated so far, and he has too much confident in his shot.

Camby with his ugly outside shot, call me crazy but no thanx. Shaq has done more then we expected him to do and is putting up good numbers for his age.

He is 4/9 from three. I will take 44% from downtown if he can keep that up. Granted he is only 10/30 from the field. He has 9 assists and three turnovers.

The 3 turnovers in 90 min of action is what has me most excited. Goran Dragic has 16 turnovers in 187 minutes of action. Sean is turning it over once every 30 minutes while Goran is doing it every 11.5 minutes. For perspective, Nash is turning it over every 8.8 minutes. For a rookie, what Sean is doing is a pleasant surprise.

I would wrather have Camby as well, for all the same reason. Plus he is younger, not by much, but younger and cheaper none-the-less.
