The grass isn't always greener on the other side, is it Amare? You didn't like Mike, and now you're complaining about your main man Coach Porter.

I'm voicing my displeasure in you, Amare, because you're supposed to be our franchise player, not a one-way player who only excels in one system. Porter's system sucks, and he's an atrocious coach, but that doesn't mean you can't crash the glass, be a leader, just flat out play with passion and try to control the game the way Wade and Bosh did tonight.

It seems Porter is on the verge of losing this team already. So much for his Head-Coaching experience commanding respect, Kerr.

It's turned out to be useless so far. Even a rookie Head Coach should know not to give Shaq so many damn touches like Porter has been giving him so far.

Bell, Nash, and now Amare have all publicly criticized the offense and that's not a good sign.

This team is very lucky to be 11-6 right now.

Porter's Milwaukee teams were horrible defensively and he hasn't improved Phoenix's defense, either.

Why wasn't Tom Thibodeau even interviewed for the Phoenix job?

another medoicre game by amare on both ends. He needs to shut up and do his job. He hasnt had a double double since forever. If he wants to "win" like he says he does, he should work on his defense and rebounding. I hope he grows up soon! Porter has been very supportive of amare but Amare is still the same old amare. I wants to be a "ron artest" it takes more than a quote. HE wants to be like KG and Duncan then he needs to develop his rebounding and defense! Im kinda sick of having to read stuff like this evrytime the suns loss. Bell, Nash, Amare needs to suck it up and realize MD is not here anymore. They need to find a balance on both ends. If bell worked on his midrange and inconsistency instead of whining. Nash needs to realize he can throw needle passes anymore. I tired of seeing Shaq having have to challenge a shot in the paint because Nash cant stay in front of his man. These guys are not even all star guys- its everyone in the league. I think if the suns do not win a championship, its on the players not the coaches!.Porter is teaching them to play the right way but they want to play the european way. Amare may be frustrated with his touches or where he gets his touches on the offensive side of the ball but a great player would compensate in other areas of the game.

If the offense is struggling and you see that, as a great player, DEMAND for the ball and do something with it. Force teams to double you and kick out to open players. Amare wants the ball but then he just drifts at the top of the key or he wants a post pass but has not sealed his man off so the post entry pass is impossible.

Look, I love Amares game and convention says you never get rid of a talanted big man, but Amare doesnt play like a big man on one side of the ball and you cant have that.

I think it is time, we have reached a turning point. We have two options.

1. Make this Amares team and let him have 20-25 shots a night and see how our team performs with him at the helm.

2. If it doesnt work out trade him now. Trade him this season for a talanted wing and some youth.

Option 1 is a bad idea. He certainly needs more shots, but they need to come in the flow of the game, because he's not too adept at creating his own shot; he needs to be set up with easy opportunities to maximize his efficiency.

D'Antoni's system minimized his deficiencies and turned him into a scoring beast, and we all thought he was an absolutely ridiculous player. However, in a half court set, his weaknesses are becoming more and more apparent, as is the fact that he's more of a specialist/role-player(greatest finisher on the pick and roll in the league) than an actual complete franchise player, and that's not a knock against him, b/c we used to need that. However, that's not our game anymore, and he still can't play with his back to the basket or create opportunities for others(his A:TO ratio is still crappy). He's honestly just a skilled finisher with a great jumpshot; that's it.

Good, get Porter fired, maybe even Kerr.

If he were to get a touch on the high post with no other big on his side of the key he could be devastating. If your a PF covering Amare and he faces up to you 16 ft from the basket it is either an easy Jumper or he will blow by you and force help defense. Which in theory should be Shaq's man.

Our spacing is just plain BAD this season and it could easily be fixed. Nash top of the key, Bell to the right of Nash and Barnes in the corner. Amare on the high block to the left of Nash and Shaq low block straight down from Barnes. Amare has half the court to work. Shaqs man will have to help if Amare drives and Barnes man will have to help down to Shaq. So depending on rotation speed Amare has a dunk, a easy feed to Shaq or a rotation pass to Barnes in corner who can then rotate back to Bell back to Nash depending on who is going where and when.

Amare could be the focal point of our offense every time down. He has the kind of skill to make opponents adjust to him but every time he touches this season he is surrounded by Suns and oppopnents alike. No space to operate.

Losing will create all problems.

also i hate his talk what will happen 2010. he needs to develope to a leader. he can´t do it if he complains about the offense , defense, coach or touches.

also, i wouldn´t care losing him, we traded barkley, marbury, kidd marion etc and were always a winning team.

First off we are not winning. don't let that record fool you, this team will be lucky to make the playoffs if it stays the course.

And NO we weren't ALWAYS a winning team. This team was losing a lot until D'Antoni and Nash took over. So define winning......................

since 1990 we only had 3 losing seasons. that´s not that bad.
