also the way porter is talking about it in the article seems like he has given up on his end and seems as if he is blaming the players...? or is that just my opinion on it.

I don't like Porter's comments one bit. Everyday I'm more convinced Porter wasn't ready to handle this team, it's too much of a team for an unproven coach.

It was more bonding exercise than power meeting with staff and management. It lasted 30 minutes, with the product being collage posters they made about togetherness that were put on the locker room wall. Did it help?

My God... If they really got together and did some pansy stuff like that could they please just keep it to themselves and not let it leak to the media? People are laughing at us about enough without things like that.

And Porter was absolutely correct. The love meeting worked for a whole three consecutive quarters. And then they backslid into the norm, coupled with Porters horrible substitutions they were back at square one.

Maybe they should have done some yoga/pilates at half time, coupled with a nice strawberry peach mango smoothy to make them feel super ooey gooey lovey dovey to finish out the game.

This is very embarrassing...I'm not sure who's horrible idea it was to have an art and craft session, but I would think it wasn't the player's. I mean, these are Steve Nash, Shaq O'Neal, Raja Bell and Grant Hill we're talking about, not a bunch of raw rookies adjusting to the NBA. Let them go bowling, grab dinner, see a movie together... anything but collages!

This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Sounds like a bunch of 2year old on a play date. Collages? C'mon!

Team bonding isn't just a 30min meeting before a game. It's a season long thing. Go out for dinner, bowling or go over to each other houses for BBQ's or whatever Americans do. If Porter really wants to reach out to his players, he's gotta get down to their level and be one of them and recognize what is what.
