Is it just me?

Or did the Suns used to give the NBA life in the pre-Terry-Shaq era? It's kinda disappointing to where I really don't want to even watch as much as I used to. Any thoughts from the rest of you? Anyone feel the same?

Last season, I missed 3 out of the 82 Suns game. This season, I've watched 3. You do the math.

We've dealt with worse. That 29-53 season in 03/04 was brutal, and it was actually somewhat similar to what's going on right now. We had really high expectations of that team, then management decided to blow it up by shipping Penny and Marbs to NYK. I was a big Marbury guy back then, so I was mad as heck, but then it became fun again b/c the expectations were lifted. I remember Leandro pwning Chicago in his first start as a rookie, and he couldn't even speak English at the time. Joe Johnson was beginning to turn into a really good player, and Amare was Amare.
And then we signed Steve Nash...

I remember that 03/04 season. Brutal doesn't even begin to describe it. I remember going to the Suns/Denver game and I vividly hear a fan sneeze across the arena. You could hear players calling plays. It looked like the the Memphis/Atlanta game this year (maybe 5,000 fans showed up...).
But I am going to be a fan of this team through thick and thin. Even if they are out of playoff contention or blow this team up, I will be there. Hell, I might be able to go to more games because friends/coworkers won't want their tickets anymore.

Oh, and to answer the original poster, I still find myself watching basketball games as usual. They only thing that might prevent that is because work exhaustion.
I admit there are fewer moments during Suns' games that my jaw drops (well... for positive reasons...).

I just haven't been able to watch as much because, well, I can't find the games.

I remember the interior pair of Jahidi and Voskuhl of that 03-04 season, lol.
Sad thing this season isn't the poor play but watching so much talent wasting away and not being a young team exactly. But i still go to bed very late at night if there's a stream out there to watch the Suns!

I have not watched a lot of games because college has consumed my life. The Suns really have fallen off my radar because of everything else going on in my life. I still care about them though and will watch a game when I have the time.

Grad school has consumed my life too. Besides that, I live in Denver now and I do not have nbatv. I when I have time, I watch whatever is on. Even if they were doing good, it would not change due to other priorities and location. when I come back, well, were talking season tickets baby.
