D'antoni is going to do everything in his power to win but the Knicks are going to need to have a great shooting night for that to happen. In the end I'm going with, Suns win 115-107.

If Shaq plays significant minutes we lose.
D'Antoni is going to outcoach Porter.

I would like to see the Suns stick with their post up style most of the game. Go in to Shaq early, rest him, get it to JRich in the post a couple times, then a dose of Amare. The suns have size advantages all over the place. If we can't beat the Knicks using our own game then its useless.

Someone ALWAYS has a big game against the Suns. I could see Lee going for another career game against us, that guy's middle name is hustle.
But man, what's up with Nate starting for the Knicks? That's gotta be the smallest starting back court in the league? D'Antoni is redefining "small-ball."
D'Antoni is going to do absolutely everything to beat us. I think we need Shaq to abuse them down low because they really can't do much with their size and with their short bench, if they get into foul trouble, they won't have a bench to bail them out.
I think for this game, we should slow down the tempo because their team is designed for run-n-gun and would bury us 7 out out of 10 times in an uptempo game. Basically every single guy on their team except for Lee can shoot the trey so we gotta make sure our transition D is there.

Anyone else find the expression on JRich's face absolutely hilarious?!
If JRich starts look for us to get him involved down low. I actually think Shaq won't see too much game time in this one. We just can't afford to go that slow and without him on the court the likes of JRich will still have his way with their guards.
Al Harrington is going absolutely nuts for the Knicks since being traded. Not surprising that Mike has been able to utilise someone as versatile as him.

I hope Nash outcoaches Porter and Porter lets him do it.
Then we'll win!

Yep. It's easy to forget everybody blamed him for being too stuborn, not playing the bench, not resting Nash, not calling timeouts, not reacting to Popovich's moves in playoffs, and finally always losing.
Let's keep things in perspective, D'Antoni for sure was an amazing coach for the Suns, but not the ultimate genius.
Better move on

One team will win 140-135.
Trainers will DVD this game and show it to kids picking up the sport as the perfect example of how to NOT play defense...

I'm expecting a New York win, tbh.
But if the Suns run and if they get a nice mix of Amare, Shaq, Nash and J-Rich from various spots on the floor, they've got some serious firepower again and they could easily blow through the Knicks, who aren't a stunner defensively (though it may surprise you to know that the Knicks, who were 29th in the league in team DRTG last year, are presently 20th under D'Antoni).
EDIT: They also went from 23rd to 19th... which means they improved more DEFENSIVELY than OFFENSIVELY.
@#$% you, Robert Sarver.

http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/PaulCoro/41379Methinks this is going to be a blowout loss. The D'Antonis know every weakness of our players...

Need a good game out of our bigs, because I think DA is going to expose Nash and shut down his game.
Suns 121 Knicks 113
Shaqtus, Amare, and J-Rich FTW.

This will be a one high scoring game, something like 127-122 in that range. We just need to hang with the Knicks and at the end make some crucial stops and win the game.

It's funny that Duhon is averaging as many assists as Nash has this season now that he's playing under MikeD.
I'd look for the crowd to give Mike and Q a standing ovation just to show appreciation of what they've done to this franchise. Also to shove it to Sarver and the management.
