Grant Hill Needs To Retire Already

Like seriously.. everytime he touches the ball he travels or throws up a flat shot. Am I the only one who notices this? His defense is the ONLY thing that makes him an okay player. He's getting old, and he needs a break from basketball or something. He's just hurting this team everytime he touches the ball. I'm not saying put Barnes back in the lineup, because then we would have NO bench, but don't let this dude touch the ball unless it's on a fastbreak.
And I'm happy Jrich is on this team so when the time is tickin between quarters and they isolate the ball with Hill and get blocked like always, it won't happen no more with Jrich taking that role.

I think that's a bit harsh. Grant has good IQ and can help us when Nash is out... But we have a few aging guys and they will tire over the season...

Hill was 4 for 4 from the floor tonight give the guy a break. Yes he isn't getting any younger but he is such a valueable piece to this organization. Just look back to last years playoffs and how his presence was missed.

Hill is on a veteran minimum contract and widely believed to be one of the best price-per-production players in the league... even at his age.
His leadership is invaluable.
Amare gets called more for that same traveling violation than Hill does, should Stoudemire retire too? Nash has plenty more turnovers than does Hill... I guess it's Nash's time to leave the league...
Learn something about basketball before making impulsive comments.

Do you really watch Suns games? Grant puts his heart out for us when he's playing on both ends of the court, he's currently our backup PG, and he's probably the most efficient wing for us right now (in terms of running up and down the floor) other than Barbosa. He's fast, has a great BBALL IQ and can put the ball in the hoop because of his slashing. What were you going on about? Everyone has off game's, your not perfect (at all), don't expect others to be.

^Not really a valid point, he's been here longer than you he just doesn't post as often
Hill's fine, he's as productive as we need him to be and is an asset
NF...you're up

I didn't realize this thread was full of valid points and intellectual discussion about how GHill is such an asset to the team. Just seemed to be a whole lot of flaming towards the OP.
I just wanted to contribute is all.
EDIT:...and agreed, "Paging NF33"

This thread is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Hill is still an amazing player and I'm in awe when I see him play. He might be the smartest player in the NBA and for the salary he gets and the injuries he had to overcome during his career he is still a GREAT player.

So................all I was gonna do was hit ignore, but now I feel obliged.
So since he got his starting job back he is averaging 12.5PPG as apposed to his bench role when he was averaging 8.35PPG and now you want him to retire?
So since he got his starting job back he is averaging just under 30 minutes per game with 2 TO's per as apposed to his bench role when he was averaging 25.18 mins per game with 1.9 TO's per. Just for your information that is 3.2 TO's per 48 mins as a starter and 3.6 RO's per 48 mins as a bench player............errrrrrr and now you want him to retire?
So since he got his starting job back he is averaging .625% from the field as apposed to his bench role when he was averaging .447% from the field and now you want him to retire?
I could go on, and please understand that I definitely could, but I think you get the picture.

This thread is full of fail.
Hill is shooting 50% and is one of our better defenders.
