Yeah I'd do this trade, Davis is still a solid defender and he has good chemistry with Matt Barnes and J-Rich.

Amazingly...I agree. That would be tight with bdiddy running with his old school boys.

And once you guys saw how awful of a midrange/3 point shooter Baron is, you'd want Nash back.

OH Lord I'd do that in a second...

He hits big shots, drives like a beast..one heck of player, but he does come with his downsides...

But he is exactly the type of player that with the help of some great leadership and coaching, can become the best point guard in the league.

He has amazing size, amazing handles, amazing core strength (bigger and stronger than any PG in the league) and great range on his shot. He is one of the most complete players at his position.

Only would make us that more dangerous.

Doesn't he also have back and other problems?

He has back AND knee problems.

I see no reason why LA would do this though.

This would make us mentally and physically tougher. I would do this in a heart beat. However, would there be enought shots to go around in a game?

Starting Lineup:
Baron Davis
Jason Richardson
Grant Hill
Amare Stoudimare
Shaq

Bench:
Leandro Barbosa
Matt Barnes
Loius Amudson
Robin Lopez

What is with this mentally tougher? I don't see why everyone thinks Steve is so fragile. He may talk a lot and express what he thinks about the team, but you would he hard pressed to find many in the NBA that are mentally tougher than him.

First of all... Davis is one of my favorite players.. He's the type of PG I would like to replace Nash. He's big and athletic and he has that toughness and killer instic that makes champions. He's problems don't bother me since we have the best medical staff in the league.. Now that being said, I would hesitate on pulling the trigger, I just think Nash is still our leader and with him gone our team chemestry would just get worst and worst and we wouldn't be ready for playoff time.. If we don't win the championship I probably would do it during the off season..

Are the facts that a) the coach / player are unhappy with each other and b) his contract is monstrous (since he ISN'T working out, it's a problem for them) good enough reasons to do this deal? I'd think they'd be all over such a deal, especially since Dunleavy / Davis' relation isn't good..

How bout 1st round pick 09, 2nd round pick 10, Nash, Lopez, Tucker, and Dragic for Baron, Skinner, Hart, and DeAndre Jordan? This would be a great trade for us and it works in the trade checker.
