Update:

http://www.azcentral.com/community/gilb ... 31-ON.html

He drove through a stop sign because he wanted to "hurry home to get oral sex from the chick in the passenger seat."

Urkel, Strahan, and Barkley partying.

All I need to hear next is that the "chick in the passenger seat" was a tranny or a dude.

This is very dissapointing.
Despite that he is "not a role model", Chuck has been something of a hero to me since I was a kid. I've admired his flawed ways -- he's not perfect, and more admirably, he doesn't run from it. He speaks his mind and never ducks controversy.
At least there's usually a justification -- at least on some level -- for his actions, and just as importantly, a repentance. For example, when he spit on that girl in the stands, he was trying to spit on a heckler who had said one thing too many (should he have done it? of course not. But in the heat of the moment, anyone might have done that) and then he made up for it by girl season tickets.

In this case, he's DUI, he's speeding to receive oral sex from a woman (and yes I believe he is married), and he apparently tried to bribe his way out of this. Even those of us on Planet Chuck can't justify that.
And how will he atone for these actions? Perhaps the better question is, CAN he atone for these actions?

And what does TNT do with him? It's a huge loss to basketball tv viewers if they let him go, but they would probably be right to do so.

^if HE can still have a job after that fiasco I don't see TNT axing him

Tough spot that's for sure...No other reason to watch that drivel except for Barkley's realist ranting

False, false, and false.

He has not been charged with DUI
He was going 10mph at the time of the infraction
He didn't try to bribe his way out of it. He jokingly said he would tattoo the officer's name on his butt if he would let him out of it. That's not a bribe, son, that's a joke.

Don't spread false information.

Marv did initially get canned by NBC after his fiasco. They rehired him a few years after

I'm sure Chuck will be on TV in five years too, but it will be interesting to see what TNT does with him now

--- I'm sure the Chuckster is on the line to Marv and Pat O'brien right now - "Guys, what do I do?"
I really do hope Ernie and Kenny ride his ass over this, but that's prolly too much to hope for.
