Hey Suns management. Trade Nash not Amar'e!

From the reports these past few weeks or so it seems like the Suns are shopping Amar'e around and I read somewhere they labled Nash as "untouchable".

A pg going on 35 that doesn't play a lick of "d" as untouchable is laughable. As many faults as Amar'e has, he's almost a decade younger than Nash and a better player than Nash and if the Suns do trade him they most likely wont be able to get 50 cents on the dollar back for Amar'e. With Nash they might be able to pull something like the Kidd trade last year and get some youth and draft picks back or something. If you want to say Amar'e doesn't play d either, he plays more than Nash lets put it that way and before you Nash lovers get upset at this I'm a Suns fan before I'm a Nash fan.

Being a Nash fan = being a Suns fan who doesn't mind having a 2 time MVP allstar PG who remains one of the top 5 PGs in the league.

Mary, can you please stop making useless threads? You clearly read wrong, because the Suns, if they will make a trade, are looking to trade ANY of Nash, Amar'e and Barbosa, with Barbosa being the most likely to go. Get your facts straight.

I actually remember reading an article that said Nash was untouchable, and I hope its true.

But Maryvale you want youth and picks for nash??? we aren't in rebuild mode, remember? We have 3 starters whose careers are on the downhill, this is our time to win.

Nash tries hard on defense, he just doesn't have the height or quickness to be really good at it, give the guy a break. He now also doesn't have any solid defenders around him to help him out.

I wouldn't say Nash tries hard on defense, sure he is a bit slow but he goes under screens, doesn't always get a hand in the face of the shooters etc. Maybe it's just a lack of fundamental training in that department for him, whatever the case is Nash is a big liability against quick scoring guards.

Not neccesarily in that order, but they are all better than nash.
Nash didnt even make the All Star :lol:

Suns having 2 Time mvp? Whats the point of having an MVP and cant win?
