Am listening now, they said Shaq's been talking...as he always does.
Shaq said:
It's not fair what's happening to Porter, and that Shaq/Kerr/Porter are ultimately up for the blame. He doesn't want to move from Phoenix, but he understands if he is moved...

Jeez would they drop the friggin GS trade!? We know they friggin proposed it and think it's better than a slap in the face from a cold fish, but come on....

They do want to trade Shaq though...

I am not a fan of that GSW trade. I don't know what the hell gambo is thinking. this team would be even worse in the long run.

Nothing new yet...as Gambo/Ash said its highly unlikely anything will happen over the AS break while the spotlight is ON Phoenix...

I wish Kerr would swap places with Robin and Sims.

Glad to see Sims signed again. His first 10-day contract came in a stretch where the team held basically zero practices, so the team didn't really get a chance to look at him at all. Hopefully they'll practice at some point during this 10-day contract.

Two related notes: First, anyone know when the deadline is that converts 10-day contracts into full-year contracts? Second, how pathetic is the extreme cheapness of this franchise that they only sign guys to 10-day contracts after waiting the maximum 2 weeks with an empty roster spot?

Hopefully he gets a fair shake. Maybe this is the prelude to a sick(ening) Lou/Lopez/Courtney frontcourt after a Shaq trade?

lol

Ah well, maybe Sims will get a chance to learn a lot from Shaq, Nash and the other vets.

don't quote me on this, but I don't think the 10 day contracts fall into that category - - at any rate, the deadline when contracts are guaranteed was January 10, 2009

per the NBA calendar

I was at the Jam Session on Saturday and got to see the D-League All Star game and there were 3 players who really stuck out on the court. Sims, Ronald Dupree, and Ahearn. From what I saw from Sims is he is better then RoLo in overall game and definitely a smarter player then Amundson. He had 9 points and 8 rebounds at halftime, and like 3 blocks. Very lengthy guy, hopefully we can see him at least once, PLAY HIM GENTRY!
