this is ridiculous randolph should have been suspended more games He should have been suspended 10 games at the very least

The NBA says they don't like these things to go on but they hardly do anything about it. The NBA should send a statement to the players that this behavior is not tolerated

What do you guys think

My dad and I were discussing this earlier. We thought if Amudson fell to the floor and then couldnt get up for atleast 2 minutes would Radolph get like 20 game suspension?

Does it really matter?

Why know Stern is the Devil. Duh. But not like that's gonna change...

Clippers are at best irrelevant. Amudson wasn't seriously hurt...play on.

--- It's not about how badly anyone was or wasn't hurt. The league has been adamant that throwing a punch is not tolerated. Two games is not in line with their stated Zero Tolerance.
In this case they accepted Randolph's explanation it was an open-handed, not closed fist, shot.
I really doubt they would have given other players a 2-game susp.. for the same offense.
The league's selective application of rules is ... ridiculous

Seem lenient to me.

But no one would want to look like a pussy just to milk it unless it was like a proper KO then it's understandable.

by punching Amudson, the guy pretty much quit on his team. The Clipps should add to that suspension.

Randolph earned a two-game suspension without pay from the league, which handed down the decision earlier Wednesday. He was not at Staples Center; instead, Randolph was back home in Indiana, attending to a family emergency.

Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy, while not condoning Randolph's action, gave some insight into his player's frame of mind. Apparently Randolph learned his father was critically ill shortly before the game in Phoenix.

"Obviously you don't want anybody doing that," Dunleavy said. "But he found out before the game, literally in the locker room before the game, about his dad.

"He was trying to figure out if he could play in last night's game, or tonight's game."

Randolph was able to get back to Indianapolis, which is where his father is hospitalized. He spoke on the telephone to Dunleavy and apologized after the suspension was handed down.

"He said to me, 'Coach, I'm sorry. I had a lot going through my head,' " Dunleavy said.

Melo got 15ish games for punching Mardy Collins. Send Z-Bo back to Indy for a couple weeks, not a couple days.

I'm okay with 2 games, wasnt like he really walloped him, was kind of a weak punch if you ask me.

I don't think I've ever seen a player close his fist and throw an actual punch to the face and get only 2 games until this.
