Whew. That was close. It was fun, but all the threads, for nothing.

So happy :) :) :D  :P 8-)

Only players I would've wanted were Ramon Sessions or Anthony Randolph.

shaq to Cavs was very close according to Stephen A. Smith. It's over now. we got what we wanted and that was Porter out.

They said the deal was not close because the cavs would not include the players the suns wanted back.

I am happy they are going to ride this out.

Stephen A. doesn't know what he's talking about. He's another ESPN goon. That trade had maybe a 5% of going thru. It didn't make sense on any level.

There were some other trade opportunities too I guess.

SInce Tim Thomas was traded back to the team he was waived by, do you think he will be waived again? I think we need to bring in a waived player or two.

I'd love TT and his swagger back...He'd be awesome with Shaq down low...

Lakers will have a look at him if he's released, same goes for BOS I'd imagine, considering how thin their backup bigs are

It would have put the Suns under the tax. To say it wasn't close is ignorant.

id think chances would be less... unless injuries become an issue for us. Sarver's wallet is def. closed now he is not going to pay a dime more than he HAS to. and maybe not even pay what he HAS to haha

+1.

Stephan A. Smith is cocky to the degree that he is because he knows what he is talking about.

both sessions and randolph are hit or miss IMO

alston to magic, lowry to rockets and some other minimum salary players....

that is a great deal for Orlando.

The minuses far outweighed the pluses.

Fact is, we will get deeper into that playoffs with Shaq than without, making more revenue to offset losses to Sarver. You also don't piss the fan base off with the crap you get in return and having to watch Amare guard 5's again.

It's either you compete or you go into complete sell off...........for the Suns that is.

Get the NBA Pass and watch those players. They are up and comers. Especially Randolph.

We can all say what we want about Amare and his lack of leadership skills but he handled the trade rumors really professionally. Never once did he bash the Suns for considering a deal, and inspite of it all he came out and played with heart and beastlyness in the last two games. Maybe he is maturing... only time will tell.

alston is not nelson but he is a good PG, compared to Johnson and whoever else is on the Magic squad.

They're one in the same. Look-to-score first PG's, except one's a lot younger and a lot cockier. Alston is a deuche bag.
