Good blog. No running or anything that would "jar" Amare for a month. Plans to run, probably plans for Barnes. Standard, expected stuff. Nash pining for Diaw, just like most of the rest of us... Deadline gone, no follow-up deal possible, so that's frustrating. I wonder if the Suns dip into the NBDL on the cheap to fill out the rotation? Sims looks like he'll get some minutes maybe? Maybe go after a wing doing well or something.

You gotta think about the blood pressure in your eye. When your heartrate goes up, the blood vessels in your eye get quite a bit of pressure. This is why he cant even condition for a month - he cant do anything that would add strain to his eyeball. Im gonna go on a limb and say this may even mean no sex...

No sex or basketball for a month? I dont want to be around him for a while.

Also, nice sig. Yeah, this is a terrible misfortune for a franchise that was just starting to re-find its way. Gentry should be retained as coach, because even on the small sample size of his trck record, he seems to get the most out of this team both offensively and defensively. I just wonder how much Nash, Hill and Shaq will have to give, once Amar'e returns next year...

I'd like to know the answer to the question whether Amare's salary will be paid by insurance?

So far my research indicates YES to the above question because it is not a knee injury. NBA's insurance carrier allegedly does not pay out for knee injuries. So Suns *might* see signicant salary relief.

Well it's only economical... It's not like it gives them cap room so why should we care?

Keeps crazy ideas from entering Sarver's head to do something dumb to save money. So heck yeah, many will care.

Anyone else catch the part at the end where Nash basically says "f** you Amundson and Dudley"?

Haha, I didn't realize that originally. But I mean, it isn't all that far from the truth is it? Lou and Dudley are hustlers, they don't have the offensive game of Diaw, they are great at what they do don't get me wrong, especially Lou, but yeah, they just aren't anything offensively.

Im sure lou and dudley will be the first two to admit they dont have what it takes to be a complete amare replacement.

Its not like Nash was dissing them, he was telling it like it is.

Lets not create drama where there isnt drama please. We have enough to go around already.
