KG is out we do have a chance to win, it's not going to be easy but we can do it.

Let's go Phx I'm all pumped up for this game.

Guys we are playing at home and C's have no KG. We don't have Amare but this is our best chance to get the C's on our own court.

Without KG their interior defence should be vulnerable and we need to rebound hard. If we can't beat a front court with Scalabrine and Perkins at the 4 and 5 there is something wrong. I don't think Boston has enough points in them to outgun the Suns. Although we will cool off eventually Shaq should have a part against Boston inside and just open up the outside for everyone else.

Boston is also old compared to the Suns so we just need to push the tempo hard and score efficiently. If we do that we will win the game.

My prediction is Suns win 108 - 96.

Lets go Suns !!!!!!!!!

Yeah the only way to win from here on out is to use small ball, hopefully the C's get tired by the 3rd quarter.

Slow down Ray-Ray, he always goes off on us...

Team rebound.

Get some easy buckets with Shaq...

Pray Barbosa is still feeling it...

Feeling good about this game.

I met Rondo and Ray Allen yesterday, real classy guys (sorry guys but Ray Allen is one of my top 3 favorite players in the league) I talked to them about the new Suns style of play and asked what they thought of it, Rondo said he thinks he is ready for the challenge and Ray said said he's glad we are running again but also said he loves the US Airways three point line haha.

Barbs needs to cut off the passing lane and get at least 4 steals.
Rich needs to use those long arms and D up Pierce.
Barbs just needs to keep his hands up at all times because Allen can hit from anywhere.
Nash needs to get help from the inside because Rondo is just going to kill him with crossovers.

We do those things and get at least 25 fast break points and a solid contribution from our bench and I say we come out with a solid win, I say by 10 points.

P.S.- I wont be posting during this game because i'll be too busy being at it :naaa:

--- Yeah, we're back to the Old Suns, meaning should be no problem scoring points but we have to be better on rotations and help. Especially with Barbs gambling. I was reading about the strong-side zone on forumblue&gold - sounds like it would be a great system for us. helps hide some of our problems, like Nash's weaknesses.
Shaq ought to be able to get Scalbrini in trouble. We'll see how our shooting is against a strong team defense
I'm thinking we score 119, win by 6

--- I'm deeply envious. Trying to talk the GF into a trip to PHX before the era ends but no luck so far. If the Suns played their games on a beach in Costa Rica I'd probably have better luck

All I ask is that if we lose, we go down doing what we do best.

Great start so far. Everyone very active defensively, forcing TOs and getting good fast break opportunities. And Barbosa has been just dynamic as a starter.

VanGundy with the coaching fraternity props to Porter. Bashin Hill, Stat, and Nash. He may have half a point, but to say it will be a stain on the careers of these players...? Hardy Har Har...

Yeah. I don't have a problem with ex-coach Van Gundy feeling like Porter got shafted, but it bothers me when Mike Breen starts talking about, "Well, he did what he was asked to do -- make them a more defense-oriented team." NO HE DIDN'T. Our D was better last year than this year. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the only time our D was worse under D'Antoni was in 04-05 after KT went down.

Porter's offensive AND defensive sets were horrible, and the players knew it. I bear Porter no personal ill will, but he did NOT do a good job. He did a bad job of utilizing the talent he had on the roster, and should've won more games than he did.
