exactly my point... its obvious how we all feel, but again this is just the sports world. honestly i am thankful we arent a franchise like the clips or something, where they have seen absolutely no daylight in years!

I don't get the bible reference either.

But it did take a quite a lot outta me to be honest. Basically the whole season i felt like our team was going nowhere as long as Porter was coaching, and my confidence in the team did sink quite low. Then Porter was fired and I regained all that enthusiasm back that I had for the team, and then x2 when Gentry was named the HC.

Then boom! Amare's out. It was just so sudden and I just thought it sucked for me as a fan and for the team. But it's part of the game.

The future isn't very bright to be honest. Like a lot of championship caliber teams, they do not develop young talent, with some exceptions. These teams are there to win now so they usually have a veteran core with solid role players that they bring in and a veteran coach. We've had that for a long time and besides Marion and Amare, we haven't had many young talents that we've developed into solid role players. But because of that championship direction we took, we have sold our picks, traded away young talent and kept only the young players who wouldn't whine about not getting PT.

It could be a few years before we get back into championship contention.

---- it's a quote often used to describe a grim situation with not much hope onthe horizon, so yeah, I was agreeing with you.
We hooped.
