At 9:28 PM Tuesday night at the US Airways Medical Center Phoenix “Seven Seconds or Less” Suns was taken off life support and passed away. The cause of death was a weakened heart. The death was a peaceful one, as Phoenix slowly slipped away without much of a fight as he proceeded to the great beyond NBA draft lottery.

Phoenix, known as Seven Seconds or Less to his friends, was just 5 years old at the time of his passing. While he was young, he faced much hardship in his brief time on Planet Orange. He was bullied by San Antonio, getting in numerous fights and losing all of them (he was always full of energy but was undersized and at times lacked toughness). His father left him to pursue the big lights and money of Broadway and left him in the hands of a less than capable caretaker during the last year of his life. Not to mention many transplants he went through over the years to try to make him tougher, taller, defensive and more mature.....
