yeah Randolph looks like a bigger Marion...with HUGE upside...combo of Josh Smith's size, with better ball handling skills

How will he regreat it if he went before our selection? I know they liked him and he would be a nice player if he can develp a solid outside shot. I don't think he is going to be a power forward by all means. too skinny

This is why I think it's possible to deal with GS, though I really don't wish any of our guys the hell of playing for Nelson, who is clearly in the terminal stages of some brain-eating disease.

Based on this I don't see How Randolph shouldn't be a starter for the next several seasons. Looks like a very special player. Good choice on his jersey number also!

That is the definition of epic fail right there.
Speights, Hibbert, Chalmers, Batum, George Hill, Koufos, Mbah a Moute, DeAndre Jordan all say hi. Heck, even McGee, Hickson, and Kyle Weaver say hi

I remember I wanted Thompson first thinking he'd slip, then wanted Speights then McGee...
I thought Chalmers would be nice as a late first...but WOW who thought he'd turn out this nice this early...besides Riley of course.
I remember standing up, calling my mate and saying - watch this - Robin Lopez, and I'll be PISSED. Sure enough, it happened...

I am not going to hammer Kerr on the draft as much as other decisions. Anthony Randolph had one good game, I am not going to go crazy over that.
Dragic has actually looked better. Rookies I don't expect much out of for awhile. When Joe Johnson was with the Celtics, he looked horribleeeeeeeee.
We need to give the picks a few years.
Now getting rid of players, and hiring Porter, Kerr can get crap for that.

Anthony Randolph is going to be a superstar; I also wish the Suns got him in the draft and it was rumored that the Suns liked him a lot.
I think Lopez and Dragic will be solid players, but Randolph has superstar potential.

thats what everyone said about bosh. randolph hasn't played at sf for more than 10-15 total minutes this season. he's either been at pf or center and he's pretty effective at both positions at 19 yrs old while looking like a stick

--- GS has Morrow, Wright and Randolph which is a fair whack of young talent right there. Not sure how Bellinelli will turn out - he has moments

I was on the Speights train since the lottery numbers were selected. Robin ****ing Lopez?
Seriously?
You owe Phoenix an apology, Steve.
Seriously.

I take back what I said about Randolph flaming out. That kid has STAR potential...the move he did last night where he went behind his back, then crossover, then finished over Dragic - that was special for anyone, let alone a 19yr old...
Think he's much better than Wright already

It seems like everybody found a good young big guy this past draft, except us - Speights, McGee, Randolph, Hickson, Deandre Jordan ... what exactly was it about FroLo Kerr liked so much?
Maybe he was the *third* best PG in the draft and we're playing him at the wrong position

Maybe because Lopez WANTED to be here? I could have sworn hearing/reading about him being a lifelong Suns fan, maybe that's why he's so rowdy on the bench.
I personally don't think he's THAT bad. He's shown some ability to block shots, rebound, and get some easy dunks, so I'll be patient with him and hope he could hone those skills. Of course, those other guys are doing much better much quicker. Oh well.

I disagree with both your points 100%

You don't draft a guy JUST cos he wanted to play here and was a lifelong fan. Let him do that and be a Sun when he's a FA then, don't (it looks like) waste a pick on him.
I *think* he can be ok in the rotation, I'm just not filled with much optimism at the moment...
